My family go to Disneyland about once a month, and I consider myself a true fan of the 'Land. I have to say that was an awesome 5 minutes. Thank you for sharing.

When you were a kid in this era you didn't go to Disneyland for reality, you went for the fantasy. Wish I could go back in time ala Back To Tomorrow.

lots has indeed changed but I dont miss the ticket book, that was too complicated. the kids are me and my brother, we live in Nor Cal so went every two or three years...
