  • A blast from the past!

  • Do you have any PSA's from the late 90's and early 2000's?

  • @solarsoul2012 - Probably not considering I wasn't recording all that much by then, sorry..

  • @MSTS1 That's fine, nice channel.

  • They don't make PSA like this anymore!

  • Anyone else remember any other PSAs that had the two kettledrum note ending, like the one in the Peace Corps PSA?

  • thanks for 1-800 the lady commercial good old days of my child hood i not seen in years

  • Oh no, not the bone people...

  • I love the "Worship Together. Grow Together" ad! I'm glad Ad Council created this ad in 1985 - the United States needs spiritual euphoria now and then.

  • That guy who said "the new captain" in the National Guard PSA sounded a LOT like William Christopher from M*A*S*H

  • NONE of my friends got a DUI!!! NONE of my friends ever died drunk driving!!! but that doesnt mean...

  • i remember that first one

    wow

    i was so little...

  • Not to be a pedant but wouldn't the Statue of Liberty have spoken in French?

  • those commercail were lame PSA commercail

  • 4:34 looks like Matthew Lawrence or Jonathan Brandis...more like Matthew Lawrence though.

  • 1:30 rip

  • i remember that one, and I remember the white house recognition, but read the book about behind the scenes. also that was shortened on here

  • 1:27

violation of seperation of church and state?

    not very pc is it?

  • usually id agree with you on that, but the ad council is not affiliated w/ the govt.

  • Who the fuck just offers you drugs!? Last time I checked you have to pay for them.

  • very interesting

  • The Lincoln wrestling is the best. Its like the MT Dew add.

  • The one about child abuse scared me as a kid. Does anyone remember the psa, around 1983 I guess, with the woman having a bloody hand. searching frantically for bandages and a phone to call 911? I think it was a psa reminding people to dial 911 but I'm not sure, I was only about 6 but to this day it spooks me. Haven't seen it since.

  • Some of those psas scared me too so you aren't alone there.

  • I was scared of some of those psa's as child

like smokey the bear, crash test dummies and

those mcgruff the crime dog psa's now that i'm an adult those ads are so lame.

  • @mrmonty86 I am still scared of them...hehehe

  • @mrmonty86

I was I, especially of the last one.

  • This only dawned upon me now, but I can only imagine how much potential damage those actors could have done to their hands with all the flying glass shards they created in this PSA...

  • Right. That's why the only real hand shown in that one is the hand that stops the crash of the beer mugs.

    The others are props.

  • And that hand didn't even spill any drinks. Class.

  • That screaming kid comercial cemented my opionion that family life sucked ...never wanted kids.

  • I remember the crashing glasses.

  • The skeleton one scared me to death as a kid, even though i only saw it once, it left a lasting impression on me.

  • Someone finally found "Lend a Hand"! It's the abbreviated version, but I'll take it! I would like to see the full version though.

  • The restoration fund for the Statue of Liberty PSA is stirring and profound, but I am most touched by the worship one. All in the compilation make me wish I was born before 1989.

  • Good job finding these! Do you have any from the early 70s?

  • Thnx. Used to watch them, don't have them taped, not that I know of.
