actually they was very close to the dam in one part i always seem to catch them that big lots of times fishing off the wall and alot of walleyes not everytime but most of the time
its not that hard to fish try some big spoons for those big lakers or live bait send it down to them spinners imatate minnows the best thing to start out with is live bait and then work your way up sometimes u gota study the mouse and not the owl once your familar with bait then study the fish what they love at certain times of the year and then your set good luck!!

I been catchin them browns with raw chicken wings and the Rhode Island Reds seem to be the best.

I am new to fishing and I have gotten a few books but I still a lot that I don't understand. For example:
I can't figure out what the diffrentce between a spinner rod and a bait casting rod
What is the point of spinnerbaits?
And can anyone give me some advice on what lures or bait I should use for lake trout
fishing
I would extremely appreciate any other helpful tips please help me out

How fast were you trolling? Were you going up river or down? Have great luck with Rainbows but have not caught the big Browns on a regular basis.
