  • mbiyen muLeh sekolah disik"an maen karo masku :')

  • I wish systems still made two player fighting games like this...

  • Why was Willy removed from this version of DD2? He's the boss you face before you take on a purple-colored Doppelganger version of yourself.

  • Oh man, I remember playing this game to death as a kid, making it a little bit farther every so often, and pretty much freaking out at every new level, trap, and boss. Thanks for a trip down memory lane!

  • My little brother was around 4 when I got this game at 12. Heck I think he was able to beat the game before I did. Little punk was like the game master, still is (ssdiablomg is his channel)

  • @imwezl Sounds like when my sister and I would play haha (me being the younger one)

  • Damn, looking back, I can't figure out why I could never beat this game when I played by myself.

  • QUE RECUERDOS!!!

  • never got past 2:18

  • I remember this game was too difficult to me. I was like 10 or less years old. But I'm so happy that I could grow in those years... the best games I've ever play are the NES ones

  • the NES version is fucking hard cause you must play in the more difficult level for complete the game, I have the cartrigue in famicom (japanese) version and you can complete the game in the three difficults, I just beaten the game once in hard

  • I remember playing this game with my cousin ( I was 5 years old)... Wonderful memories.

  • i still remember double dragon movie...it seems to be quite popular long time ago...my favorite are the two blue and red warrior and the badass lady who use whip...i watch that movie recently, not entertaining like it was before..probably because there are more fighting based movie which seems a lot better nowdays

  • I love this game it'll be nice to play with may cousin the way we use to do back then

  • beat this game so many times back in the day, solo and two players. great game i remember the ending slow-motion distinctly.

    also, knee FTW

  • Awesome. Congratulations. Classic game. Hail Double Dragon 2.

  • ahah still got the game and the NES in a box, safe under my bed =)

  • god i loved this game but hated it at same time, the level with the disappearing platforms and the gears i had the hardest time making it past.

  • easiest of the dd games

  • In my memory this game was much longer.

  • the freakin super knee move is soo Over powered in this game.

  • @zw0nks but hard to pull off lol

  • I could never beat this game. But you made it look so easy -.-

    Epic fuckin words!

  • Comment removed

  • ahhh the shineing knee move; will k.o. almost everbody in 1-2 hits takes practice to nail down how to do it thoe!!! grate vid ....better game (XD

  • eu curtia esse jogo quando era mais nova, me deu uma baita saudade assistindo o vídeo XD

e você é foda hein? Eu só conseguia jogar isso com minha irmã, nunca ganhava sozinha XDD

  • Great game!!!!

  • Totally clutched the end there... I remember this game being so much longer when I was 5. Man what I would give to go back to being ignorant and happy.

  • @DGol03

Could it be as easy as buying this game again from ebay with an 8bit and calling your brother or friend to come play a game with you. Maybe it could. I recently starting playing mariokart for the snes against an old nemesis. And we have a great time, im destroying him now so the rivalry is kinda dead.

I find it so much harder to get pleasure out of the newer games.

These games really put your imagination at work, to beatifull graphics makes my mind lazy, i guess.

  • ABOBO MaNN!

  • The need to re-make all 3(not the 4th game!!!!!!)DOUBLE DRAGON games for the PS3 as a trilogy!!

  • not only do i still have the game , but i still play it to. glad to be born in the 80's because i had the chance to enjoy games like these when i was young

  • music and sound effects do not match video action

  • amazing game i cant believev how fast u completed it me n my mate used to play this for hours every day i only seen it completed like twice befor, good times man.

  • I STILL HAVE THE CARTRIDGE!!!! ='D

  • The music is so good!

  • 4:13 epic music !!!

  • Ah I'm glad I was born in 86 and used to play this in co-op with a friend back in the 90s !!! Never finished it though !! Too bad the music is not synchro.

  • VERY GOOD! I LOVE THIS GAME!

  • I wonder if the religious atmosphere was intentional for this stage.

  • I love how much Arnold Schwarznegger and Lee Haney come and fight you, thinking this time they're gonna beat you.

  • 4:10 i always loved how the music and battle ground changed during this fight, it gave u the feeling that u were turning the tide and overcoming evil. the final slow motion blow was EPIC too. great gameplay, great graphics, great music, great ending.

  • Thank God I was born in 1983.

I watched gaming blossom, and it consumed my life forever.

  • me too, 11-17-83

  • @napalmwedding man i wished i was born in 1989

  • LOL you are so right. The music for this game got me pumped back then. And I thorougly enjoyed beating the stuffing out of those thugs.Funny thing is this game and many others proberly influenced me to become a mma fighter and martial artist

  • @napalmwedding me too! 1983 ftw! just not the consume life thingie D=

  • @napalmwedding lol you and me both this game is 1 of the best games EVER made on ANY system and was really revalotionry for it's time considering all the diffrent stuff u could do! i still play it on my nes about 8-10 times a week and have beat it with only 3 lives from the start, love this game 1st one SUUUUCKED thoe!

  • @napalmwedding hey I borned in that year too... I even made a comic of this game

  • @napalmwedding a great year to be born in. Gaming as come a long way has it? I got my nintendo when I was four. lol Also I remember playing this in Germany (military mom) and just beating it without losing a life lol

  • gotta love how they always put jimmy in the sidelines

  • Memories =)

  • the movie sucked but the game is pricless to me i love dd2

  • im a beast at this but the guy who was playing is great as well

  • that last knockout was so sick! XD

  • the last track is the best...great BOSS music

  • Its funny how this game had such great gameplay and music. It rivals Castlevaia Bloodties for the Genesis but DD3 was just aweful. I guess they ran out of ideas. Too bad. DD3 ws just a letdown!

  • @farcher3 Hmm I thought DD3 was still a good game, it was a letdown compared to DD2, but it was still a good game. btw Castlevania Bloodlines was an awesome game as well!

  • and DD3 was a letdown compared to DD1 'but still a good game'. Yes I too thought DD3 for the NES would have been a good game.

  • Abobo always reminded me of the wrestler Butch Reed!

  • great sound track for this lvl .

    such good memories

  • this game is fucking epic i wish i can play it again with my bro just like in old days..hard to find anything good to play these days...

  • Yeah, this was back when a game was a game and it didn't have to be a movie as well.

  • too bad they made a movie about it

  • True, but this could have made a really great movie. The trouble is that they made it too kid friendly. They should have retained the dark themes of the missing girlfriend and the supernatural and let it discover its own audience instead of talking down to us because we were kids. Had they done this it would not have failed as a film adaptation.

  • @W3CA3000 same here. I wish we were kids playing this again :)

  • @W3CA3000 just download the nes emulator an buy two pc controllers and (KAZAAM!). now you have double dragon 2 at your disposal

  • Nice, I finished this game only once with my cousin. We found the high knee attack on a fluke and once we had mastered it, it was a piece of cake. That was more than a decade ago.

  • Big difference here is that the NES version has a happy ending. While the arcade version has a simple yet depressing ending.

  • impressive!!! this is my favorite game of all time and beating supreme master by YOURSELF is a task in itself, but beating it without losing a life bar takes alot of skill. we should get up and play coop and do knees on everyone!!! so much fun

  • The music during the final battle and the ending is so GREAT!!!

  • Some1 did the final boss theme on guitar. Look it up bro. I think U'll B VERY happy.

  • Cool. I'll check that out. :)

  • hell yeah! lol

  • I've always thought it looked weird when the final boss would do a backflip. Like he's sliding towards you while moving backwards.

  • cool audio syncing, bro.

  • I love Double Dragon II and the game even had very cool box art!~also love that music when you fight the clone. Classic game!:)

  • I did this in coop mode. more fun that way

  • haha maybe I was a troubled kid but I enjoyed kneeing all of them in the face and watching them fly back.

  • Final hit, knee to the f()cking forehead.

  • 2:03 kicks ass!!!!

  • my favorite level,Level 8 around the ''Double Illusion''cool!

  • heh heh beating this on easy normal or even hard is reasonable. but supreme master is fricken hard as hell even with Game Genie starting with 7 lives i only managed to barely beat the last master with 1 health point left. I recorded it on vhs too but cant put on pc. Talk about a Game Miracle.

  • shadow billy was so hard and so cool. he shoulda been a playable character. and man those eyes used to scare the hell outta me. lol.

  • ...@ :53 you can jump down without using the ladder....just make sure the automated finger stops beeping signaling for you to go down.

  • Love the Final Stage the Final Boss fight and the whole soundtrack! Great!

  • at 0:52, you can also jump down without the ladder.

  • There is a 3D version of this game in my space

  • really a impressive game

  • this was a fun game.

  • Yimoney what do you mean with WAS. It still being a fun game and it will be a fun game for ever

  • this enemy is imposible i never....

  • yeah i cant beat this game withouot statesaving even if i make it to the end with 3 lives this guy just owns me

  • i would like to see a no death speed run of this game with someone not using a turbo controller, its not as easy. I used to use the nes max and i can play exactly like this guy, but i can't be 100% sure that he's nothing using a turbo controller. love the vids

  • One of the most epic endings ever....I will never forget the game's music for as long as I live....

  • the secret that made this boss kill SO many players; you always wanted to knee that bastard in the face, fail, then be given a roundhouse FIST in the face that takes away 3 chunks of life ¬__¬

  • Arnold Schwarznegger jajaja lol

  • Damn old school shit, played this so much, Cant believe its that long. And the music at the end boss, can still rememeber it till this day. Wicked!!

  • I am a proud owner of this game!

  • how do you do the flying knee? i forgot...

  • The huge guy with the terible tan reminds me of Arnold Schwarznegger hahaha

  • gierka po prostu zajebbista.

  • When you think of epic final boss fights, few can match this game.

  • i still play this gamealmost every day :D

  • 8 bit music at 4:13 what a tune hope they bring out more 8 bit games again like they did with megaman 9 another 8 bit double dragon would be awesome if it was like the revenge

  • You ought to hear the version of that song in Double Dragon Extreme, it's amazing.

  • i miss this game

  • dam u brought back in time with this video of Double Dragon 2 the revenge 4 da original NES i loved this game i woud play this so much dam its been while since i played like 14 years i would say since i played this

  • at 4'13" the best sound have hearded in my childhood. You beat the Boos to rapidly, we don't have the time to leason this music fully. What a pity.

  • This game is definitely a classic, but I never understood what the boss and the clone were. Is the clone supposed to be a demon and the boss the devil?

  • You mean the Billy clone? It's just an illusion by the last boss to test Billy and Jimmy.

  • ma il mostro finale nn bastava chiuderlo all'angolo e menarlo???

  • Very entertaining!

What's the technical reason for the late audio again?

  • I always loved the slow mo when you gave the boss guy the last hit that finished him off!

  • a classic, indeed!

  • I could beat this game on one man. The only game I ever had completely down.

  • dude, I love the song it plays when you fight that twin version of you. Though its a shame you beat him to fast for me to listen to it enough

  • Why is there always a sound retarding?

  • The dude you fight at 1:00- my friends and I used to always call him Roger Ramjet because of the little shoulder charge thing he always does.

  • I played this so much I had that end music memorized.

  • same here bro! haha such good times

  • That was crazy at the end he almost had you, then you fed him the knee, I love that move.

  • The most epic beat'em up ever.

  • I have a NES in my bathroom and this is one my favorite games to play in there.

  • hey thats a great idea. game system in the bathroom. thanks buddy.

  • just don't get elecrocuted.

  • did you know that on the last level instead of climbing down that long ladder you can drop down over the edge to the floor below. After the hand points for you to go down.

  • yeah, found that out by accident kuunami

  • pretty much the best nes game, ranks up with super mario 3 plus 3 people fighting at once? before its time.

  • marian was returned by an angel, but it turns out she has a dick now. somehow. i dunno.

  • well billys gonna get some, but what about jimmy, he worked hard for nothing!!!

  • They may have to fight over her!

  • Or they just might have to share!

  • Those spikes below are in clear violation of city code.

  • great game at the time, still is in many ways. vey tuff last boss, you deserve lot of credit for beating that game with no lives lost, well done.

  • Wait, what? Marian came back to life?! I thought she was shot to death...

  • She was but whoever programmed the NES version decided to tack on this cheesy ending.

  • meh i remember playing this game and not losing any lives and still got to the ending without those annoying ninjas start coming at me and killing thme with the knee and the spin kick

  • Great memories come to my mind looking at the final missions.
