Hallo Clive. It could have been 'The Dancing Slipper' yes. The name rings distant bells. I was doing National Service in Lincoln at the time and took every opportunity to get away from camp. Regards FUS.
A very good jazz song. An era of music that was always enjoyable to listen to.
