The Ghostbusters movies have had such a huge impact on my generation! It's awesome to others my age who relate the same way I do! Especially about how they mentioned that some of the commedy was lost on us as youngins. I introduced the Ghostbusters movies to my oldest son when he was about 3-4. He's now 8, and we still watch them a lot! I'm just waiting for the day as he matures, where he says "oh that's what that joke means!"

I think that the Ghostbusters 2 sign represents the second coming of the Ghostbusters so to speak. They weren't really popular, everyone forgot about them, it was like they didn't exist. So when they regained popularity it was like they were coming back to life.

Before sept. 11 the southwest entrance to central park was a great place to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. My brother and I would take the subway to the east side and walk across the park and get a perfect view of the entire parade...Those were the good old days in New York.
