just to point out that their downfall was not their music or it being guitar based, it was the huge head and ego of the lead singer, so many in the industry thought he was a complete tool and few wanted to work with him....... exit one band.
@dequadim Hi friend, it was available on CD on the album and released as a CD single too. Still available on places like eBay. There's a few on there now, it won't allow me to post the link up, Sorry but good luck.
@silletjuh That's because they are only known over here for the single "Big bubbles no troubles", which was liked by the dance crowd.....who found out that the album was very much guitar-orientated. So, it was over quickly for the band. But it's a real gem this whole cd.
I see these at the Astoria years ago, and I still cannot believe what a great voice he had, It was one of the best live perfomances I have ever seen. Plus I still have the cassette with this album. Still play it today.
simon and nick were great guys, i worked backstage at wembley for them but austin was a bit of a tool with an attitude which is allegedly why record company pretty much eventually dumped on them. he thought he was better than he was they say. the album is good, got it new on cd
i never got around to converting my old tape casette to mp3 - what a fantastic album! They should have been huge. Nick Beggs and his Chapman Stick - a million miles form Kajagoogoo.
What an incredible great band this was !!! One of my favorite cd's ever, still spinning its rounds from time to time, I never get tired of it. Only one album.....aaaaarrrghhh. Alas, better than nothing, it was one amazing brilliant one.
@leehal An official one? I actually had some mail contact with Mr. Beggs' wife, who said there was plenty more material, for sale through their site or via her. But I never followed up on the offer.....darnit.
I love this brilliant song !! Superb!

Found a record in my collection that was used by the record company as a pre-release for the album.
No name and song titles on the record and a complete blanc cover.
Great album .

@manofthepeople69 Thanks for your help, but prices on eBay are too high for this album. So I keep the vynil version as a little treasure :-)

Where did good music go? Most modern music is naff compared to the music of the 60's, 70's and 80's. Love this song.

between Seal and Paul Carrack there is Austin Howard... unfortunately in another dimension!
chucku00 3 years ago
Do you suppose Seal was sitting at home taking notes for his "world domination" while watching this video back in 88? It does seem plausible!
