does the publisher include a new bow and some strings when selling the sheet music of that work? :D
despite feeling a little sorry for the instrument, I enjoyed the music and the performance.

Mmm, Cage had that intention in many of his works. I have the feeling Lachenmann does not in this case. Or, at least, he allows for them.
