  • Comment removed

  • voices remind warcraft

  • You know it's almost funny how they refuse to pronounce the name of that certain Scottish king on stage :)

But I guess you know why :)

  • By the way to all you wise guys saying this is from Hamlet...Well, it's not.

    It's form Macbeth.

  • @imoenbg1 Tampered with, Macbeth, mind you ;)

  • ooohhhhhhh now I know what is the ")O(" people do sometimes on witchy songs comments. Took me some time =D

  • hahaah i was looking for the trance artist omnia ahhaahah whoops

  • 1.25 *___* sooo cute!

  • @prayrex I haven't got the problem, but you can download their songs in the online music store Spotify. Just make an account, download the program, and you can buy the songs. And you can listen them online for free too :)

  • @azosas same here. :-)

  • 1-2-1-2-1-2-3!!!

  • music is like candy, always better without the rappers :P

  • Music is the one and only world-language ! <3

  • @Klattsche601 sadly, lyrics are not. <.<

  • @klomedih Shut up, worthles idiot. Omnia always has outstanding lyrics ans Wytches' Brew is a pure awesome song.

  • @Narania234 whoah whoah, no need to act all hostile like that.

I was just stating an ironic fact, music is universal, but language is'nt.

oh, and the entire song is lifted from Hamlet, just putting it out there ; )

  • @klomedih I know it's from Shakespeare's Hamlet.

The point is that Steve Evans-van der Harten and Jennifer Evans-van der Harten sang this song wonderfully, unearthly, awesome.

  • @klomedih i guess you know you made an unforgivable mistake here? Hamlet?

  • Music is the one and only world-language ! <3

  • love it!

  • don't know why,but i always think about terry pratchett's witches,while listening this song

  • What albulm is this from?

  • After hearing this song, the next time I add one of those Crystal Light flavor packets into my water, it will be THE MOST EPIC MIXTURE EVER!

  • And too it is said, that within the minds of mans ruin lyes aplace of fear and darkness. And too is it within this place that fear and fortune combine in fantasy and dreams of Old Lands of Yor. Welcome the minds eye to an awakening of Lost Journeys and Feeling of happiness and dread. Sir anton Pindragon. This Music is for the Middle Earth in us all.

  • Love them !

  • Thirteen Christians were busy hatin' on pagans

  • Why oh why weren't they (and this song) featured in Harry Potter movies - would have added A LOT ;)

  • @Ussicke the song was with the choir in nr3

  • Gonna see them live again on Castlefest in Lisse, the Netherlands :D

  • It is so... undescribable!

  • @prayrex I know you're problem, I haven't once seen an Omnia CD in and English shop and it really annoys me because they are yards better than the poppy rubbish they sell in the charts. I get them all from the Omnia Website.

  • It amuses me as fellow Witches (such as myself) can listen to this and love it dearly <3

  • @webweaver101

greetings from an irish brother may the ancestors smile on us

  • Is it just me, or does this song reminds me like, a lot to Shakespear's scottish play ? I thought they were saying/singing it just before Macbeth came to ask for their advice. Hm... Anyway, omnia's the best, and the song is awesome <3 ^^

  • @Annika589 this IS the witches' chant in Macbeth (or parts of it at least). They took it and put it to music, like they have with Poe's "The Raven" and Carroll's "Jaberwocky"

  • @Leathra26 Oh okey! super cool =D Thank you very much ^-^

  • if only the other omnia songs where as great as this one

  • @Taloncor I think they all are!

  • Es ist so Wunderbar Wahr!

  • i love this song, this song was in Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban but the more Choral version, its Hogwarts song

  • @bigkevcxza

Eeee? No it wasn't. Quite similar but it's not same. Regards, Greg

  • @bigkevcxza Harry Potter did the Shakespearian version... From what I heard anyhow, I may be incorrect and if I am, I am sure someone will be quick to correct me :)

    Blessings....

  • I lived in germany and I absulutly loved it I also so castles and a part of the true cross but I wish at that time I wish I had the gaul to be a wiccan for I saw places that witches were killed and slaughterd and I think it would of touched me more than what it did blessings from waterloo Iowa! May are ways never sucome to death by any person or persons and may Goddess be blessed blessed be.

  • I would love this as a ringtone.

  • love this!

  • Ich freue mich schon darauf, Omnia auf Feuertanz wieder zu sehen. Das war diesen Sommer schon mein absolutes Highlight und wird es auch wieder sein!

I'm that glad i get the change to see them next summer at Feuertanz Festival. It was so awesome, my Summer-Highlight, and i'm sure it will be the same this time

  • they're one of my fav bands! i love it to dance to their music <3

  • lol one my friend told me to hear this song, i like it but somehow the song makes me scared xD

  • this could be the used in a musical version of Macbeth...could be interesting

  • Actually most of the comments here make me laugh.

    I mean, get real

Its not about religion, origin or whatever but about whats in your heart.

If youre a badman no religion on this planet will make you a better being nor any song will do so.

And i have to disagre with you Whizkik, we are not animals but Humans, we got a consciousness and the sense of good and evil, and that is what separates us from animals.

Just because some of us behave like animals it doesent make the rest of us to animals.

  • @Hempsmoke I think its funny how people make religious comments on here, when its a song based off of a scene of the shakespearian play McBeth haha

  • no christian song can have so much energy joy, and pure love for music that Omnia captures, because Omnia is Wiccan. They are the pagan. The very belief system that christianity utterly wiped out during the Crusades, and before.

  • @titanMVMI they can, you just don't know them:-) And you're mistaken about the religions that were wiped out during the crusades. The goal of the crusades whas to free Jerusalem of Islam. The witch-hunting only started in late middle ages until the beginning of enlightment. The crusades were from around 1095 ADtill 1271 AD.

Before the crusades, pagan believes were quite common in europe. Because the vikings, living in europe from 500-1000 AD were no christians.

  • @annzie1991 ur gonna be mah SS teacher this year !

  • @titanMVMI First, read what annzie said, who I completely agree with (easy, since they're historical facts...) Then, try and listen to this, it's faun, I suppose you know them being an omnia fan, and tell me if beauty is about the music or the religion...

[Considering both that faun play pagn/folk too, and that this song of Omnia (you know, Shakespeare, Christian Europe, witches as evil hags...), as many others, has nothing to do with religion, so keeping talking about it is nonsense.]

  • Sorry, I skipped thetitle I ought to have written after "listen to this": it's "Da que Deus" (by Faun of course), without that it doesn't make much sense! XD

And remember: stop arguing, just enjoy it's beauty! ^^

  • Shakespeare

  • did not understand a crap but i can sing it from the beginning till the end and like it

  • Holy Crap, this song is one of the most addictive things I've ever seen/heard XD. I had to play this over and over for HOURS before I got enough

If only more Christian songs had this kind of energy...

  • @WTFAANU Christian? Its Celtic...

  • @deathmetalhead55 You misunderstood; the point I was trying to make was that I wish there were more Christian songs that were as energetic as this one.

  • We were on the Festival Mediaval in Selb and they really made my day on friday. Awesome show. They excel themselves in their live show. Nobody was able to hold ones feed when this song was played.

  • The instrumental parts of this song make me think of gypsies dancing in a great hall before great kings... Omnia rocks!

  • anyone has the lyrics for this?

  • Right, I recomend Enya and Era too :)

  • They should add "Caution!! this is so breathtakingly beautiful it might give u a heartattack " somewhere .... *melts away* Q_Q

  • @LessthanJake6 I agree! This was the first piece my Omnia (now my favourite band) I ever heard and it blew me away!

  • Waanzinnige muziek, je waant je eeuwen terug. Heerlijk om in weg te dromen. See you by the castlefest 2010!

  • @bulb7

dude XD this is a version of a famous chant XD

it is even played in harry poter XD

  • @giomanach1wiccan still sticking by the gay pirtate movie

  • Fabulous song and video, love all the black and white imagery, just wonderful!

  • I so want to play this at a Beltaine feast!

  • you like wolfs? but the song is epic

  • Blessed be!

  • I only just found out about this band recently. The energy in this song is wonderful! Blessed Be all Pagan folk who watch this video! )0(

  • @potomusicfan4ever what about people who aren't pagan but just like good/Celtic inspired/literary music? :)

  • @skyejacques

Yes them as well. What I meant by "Pagan folk" was not only pagans but everyone who enjoys this type of music or is touched by it in someway.

  • divain

  • Dreaming tales of faraway lands... ;D

    Great music!

  • How do i fave this there is no button.

  • @ADyingFaith Click "save to", and then click "favorites" :)

  • @torrog Thank you.

  • @ADyingFaith

    +1

  • @ProDoombringer What do u mean?

  • @ADyingFaith

That's what I wanted to comment ... "Thank you."

    You were first :P

  • I like that )O(

  • no matter how depressed u are Omnia will always make u happy!

  • @Kuksoman:

    It's helping.

  • @ShannaMyers - Try listening to Edie Brickell & the New Bohemians - 'Nothing'!!

  • @Kuksoman you realy need to see them live its a real blast i was at castle fest in lisse-Holland man wat a party you realy need to be there

  • @Kuksoman Truer words have never been spoken

  • Omnia have the nicest sound there is nowdays i think =) i love many of their songs alot, this song is a really cool version

  • fantastic stuff xxxxxxxxxx

  • How did that discussion get here? I really don't care for the war just because it is a war. the world does not need domination but it needs peace and understanding...and never say it is immpossable

  • It isn't impossible, but as long as we stay human, the way we are now, it wont happen. Or if we don't change, it will not happen til we're gone.

  • My apologies Omnia & WinterMoon, on behalf of the posters who care only for this GREAT music & video!

Excellent job..., and thanks for sharing! It's now a permanent part of my playlists, on regular circulation! :)

  • First, I hope (but doubt) that you can understand exactly how hypocritical your view is!? You claim that we (the readers) do not understand your position, on the basis that we are not there..., but then, you claim to understand our position, w/o being here!? Ignorant & arrogant...

Second (but most importantly), this is a MUSIC video!!! Get your obviously biased politics OFF of this comment board... :\

  • @Retarior:

Moreover, what happened in the U.S. is obviously an inside job, even a monkey can understand it.

There is no reason that U.S. troops should be in Iraq.

You live blindly if you think that the USA does something good for us by having thousands of troops down in Iraq.

One more thing, you talk about how extreme Muslims are. Try rather to see how extreme Christians in the United States is. I have not fucking seen worse people.

  • @Retarior:

It's like you only see the news from TV, and believes the Muslims are the ones who started it all.

Something that is far from the truth. The United States has been for decades down in Iraq and Iran.

Chased and slaughtered countless innocent people from their homes, taken from their job and any kind of way of life.

Decades lived in oppression; is it so strange that they take back?

  • oh and isnt this from Shakespeare smart, i love this

  • yes it is.

I think its from act 4 scene 1..

    Amazing song!

and to the rest of you:

The US politics (inner and foreign) are just as fascisitc as the german is. And the most western countries politics are.

But the others are also just argumenting the typical way, contra the US. The muslims, not all but the ones with the power, are also not innocent.

The only right solution to save this world is to let them all rot. Humanity itself is the enemy.

  • @Whizkik & Jwavenger Your view is too simplistic & naive. The only valid point is "Humanity itself is the enemy", but that will never change! Hence, there will always be conflict. Hence, one must always be prepared to face said conflict (like it, or not). All that "evil" needs to succeed, is for "good" men to do nothing...

Anyway..., I don't know how the conversation got here, either !? I really love Omnia & this song, so I have to see the comments a lot!! ;) :D

  • @MorSamhain: yeah i do so either :D really love them and valravn. Both great bands!

Yeah i'm just wondering about it too.

In my opinion I can't see any sense behind this (true) balance between good and evil. But this is also Bushs view of the world. "The Axis of Evil". Sound similar huh? There's more than good and evil.

Back to topic. I think this whole crap should be ended with the end of humans.

  • Well, I don't think people "intend" to become evil. I believe that people are "selfish" (and "self-absorbed"), and anyone who is NOT them, is competition. Classic "Fight or Flight" animal instinct.

It takes mental-maturity, selflessness & sacrifice to be a Good person. It's EASY (natural, even) to be mean. It's HARD to be nice!

So, I am NOT saying its a BAD view. I just believe that its too simple & naive. Most people are too selfish & immature to allow for REAL peace...

  • @MorSamhain you are so right. No surprise i find people with intellect commenting here - fits to the awesome music :)

  • @MorSamhain /agree agree agree

  • @LessthanJake6 Such is the way. While I am religiously agnostic, and inclined towards pagan (particularly Celtic) notions of nature..., I have a great respect for Daoistic philosophy.

Only once we humble ourselves (e.g. stand in front of an ocean), can we begin to look at others with any understanding. So long as we are absorbed in our concerns & views.., we will always be apart.

Music is one of the few magical ways (and food, and love) that different people can experience the same feelings!

  • @MorSamhain I so agree, this is one of the reasons I decided to become a chef. I love people being brought together by my pieces of art.

  • @MorSamheim [part2]

But i'm aware that this won't be true for a long, long time. So our youth, we, should prepare for upcoming ww3 between, kind of again, west and east civilizations. [NATO/USA/EU vs. China/iran/korea?/russia?] Follow the news, soon a conlict isn't avoidable anymore. Especially with Iran.

And if you get a view of this cold, capitalstic and power hunting world, it's obvious that we humans are the earths plaque!

But fuck off, isn't the right topic for such a beautiful song! (:

  • Yeah. History only needs 1 or 2 generations, to repeat itself. Everyone thinks for & about themselves, with little regard for the mistakes & successes of their fathers.

Again, I wish it could be otherwise (and when I listen to Omnia & others, I can almost believe...), but I know that it will never be..., and so, better to be prepared! ;)

  • yeah. kind of like your views, even if we are not of one opinion. Yeah humans are also nothing more than animals, even worse. And that what you said about being (or getting) good/mean/nice is true man.

So when you think about it's pretty sad that todays people even not expect to live in real peace someday..

And you are right again, i some music (and omnia does this kind of music) you can just dream away of a better world. Sometimes wish this dream would never end, even if it's just a dream.

  • @Whizkik True words...

  • @Whizkik I would say serves them/us right .. but then i see ppl like you and i feel sorry. I wish people would be more open minded and more aware of things. This ignorance everywhere is killing me :(

I just wonder how a person cant be disgusted to be a human .. for my part I am. And i feel ashamed of my own race.

  • to those of you who leave stupid comments get a life

  • I know and i like it

  • Yeah, I did know :P

  • Did u guys know that the lyrics of this song comes from Shakespeare's MACBETH?

    XxJuul

  • )o( blessed be )o(

  • WHAT?!?!?!?!? you feel sorry for what the christians did centuries ago.... so lets go do what they did and kick the Muslims out........ WTF..... really?

  • @balltoball1

Yeah really. Think on it what is happening in whole western Europe! If you are offensing my sorry, then suit your self. I thought you are better... everything is only a matter of time...

  • I'm not offending your sorry...... i am glad that some people in the Christian faith are sorry for what the romans and others did..... but come on lets go do EXACTLY what you just apologized for to someone else? how does that logic work

  • No man... I am not planning to do the same what romans did... I would like to do what should have pagans done to romans, when the romans burned their holly trees and killing and remaking their children. There is little difference between be in foregin region and using force on locals and between be in your land, trying to not be smashed in to the ground.

  • that is true..... i agree but they aren't invading us..... anywhere..... and even if they are its not because of a heavenly mission its cause we are invading them

  • In this point I disagree... we are not invading them... its just like when the muslims invaded Spain, Italy and Greece... then pope called crusade and we did a counter attack. And now its the same. True is, that crusades lost theyr true sence and turned in to needles blodshet. But it was counter attack. We are not invading them, thats only their propaganda.

  • @balltoball1

And yeah man. I am patriot and I really hate filthy relligion from quran. If you dislike Mein Kampf, you shouldnt say Quran and Islam is innocent. How much do you know about them heh? Do you live among them? I bet no. So save your WTF expression. Yeah you got it, les go kick them before they kick us. These are our lands. No one dares in Saudi arabia to be of different relligion

  • retarior

how can you say that...... lets go ruin another cultures lives before they do it to us......... i don't care if they are war mongering haters of humanity that have an enormous inferiority complex there is no reason for destroying lives over religion........... and no i don't know anything about Islam. i don't know what they believe........ they may not be innocent.... but until you denounce everything you have and walk the life of an follower of the Islamic religion you will not either.

  • And I fully respect Islamic culture, astrologic knowledge and so on. But I respect it only in their land, and only those who live, as you said, clear life. I would not dare to burn their land. But I wont allow them saying Islam must dominate to the world and I dont like their demandings on other cultures... Thats all.

  • why not......... they can say it all they want.....the second they do the UN are going to set them straight....... and they aren't demanding anything on anybody.....

  • None of us invated them, so there is no reason for they are coming and spreading violently theyr hellish relligion in street fights. How can you say they are demanding nothing?

They are... just look what is happenning in France, Germany, Daneland... I have lived among such people and I still live among them... I wont move only because they are idiots. It seems you know nothing about it I mean it in no offense. Better to not discus it.

  • People who have no experiences would not believe me even if the whole Europe would burn. You can check the Amsterdam and London... their violent deeds are not even showen in TV... this is called positive discrimination... I live 17 years in such comunity and if you think I havnt tryed to have good relationship with them, you are wrong. Even If I wanted to, I am just White European dog and thats all to them. They dont want to accept our sytem, so they should get out!

  • right........... man id love to believe you but i know people who are Muslim. and i have asked them. their religion believe the same as Christianity. you think the entire Islamic community is attacking the world they are not. america has hundreds of thousands of troops in the middle east. and there are many extremists that believe as you have described. but if what you say is true then i can see your frustration and why you hate or dislike the Islamic community.

  • if what you say is true though then i agree push them out but DONT repeat the same mistake america did

  • Man lot of information about islam is silenced and they are not saying them selfs naturaly... I have had good friend muslim as a class mate. When I toke my break and start eating pork, he almost killed me! Only because in his relligion he is not allowed, he dont want to see my relligion, only to push his faith to me! There are certain verses in quran, read that book... then you will see... write me on personal. I dont want to spam here.

  • Yeah, I know also some muslims and Judaism, Islam and Christianity in basic believe in the same thing, but this is propagand. There are differences... for example from that basics grow different trees. Its still the same ground, but different tree man. I am not saying muslims are bad...

  • True, america have htere soldiers, but most of the soldiers went there not because of money or power of usa, but because of they saw shits what muslims did. Thats like crusades... people see that christians went to the muslim lands... but you should not see only to stone roll, but from which side its rolling...

  • Great stuff, heard it for my first time today - not my usual style but it's not bad at all!

  • very succesful

  • I love this!

  • I love it <3

  • Awesome song!

I'm reading Mac Beth at the moment- it's a great book!

And of cause I love Omnia! They're fantastic !

Have a beautiful evening, all of you- it's Samhain!

  • Samhain blessings xx )0(

  • Awesome . 5s

  • This song is AMAZING, which I guess could be the only case because it's a great band using the work of a great writer.

  • Shakespear goes Pagan. Absolute The Shizz!!

  • cool band! great song!
