What's up with Rip Hamilton??? Oblivious to the fact that his teammate is near death right beside him while he gulps down Gatorade. What....he has to get hydrated and recharged with electrolytes before offering assistance???
Fuck you man how are you going to talk shit abt him like that. You are are real bitch DRZHUSTLER03 I HOPE U HAVE A SEIZURE AND COLLAPSE FUCK NIGGA. I'm glad he's out the hospital and the tests came back negative thank god
Scary. You see so many footballers (soccer) players collapse and die on the pitch. We don't need any more sudden deaths in sports. Hopefully he's ok and will return at 100%.
ii guys i have some good news. news is that he got out of the hospital and all the tests run by the cleveland clinic came back negative meaning that he was cleared and normal. the pistons are now going to run some further tests to get an in depth look. I ask of all of you people to do as i am and pray for the guy keep him in your thoughts it was a very scary situation to witness for myself i hope the guy will be ok and still able to play the game he loves.
Thank God he's out of the hospital. I was holding my breath for the longest time. I remember watching the Red Wings game where Jiri Fischer collapsed, and when I saw Rodney Stuckey go down, my reaction was, "Oh no, here we go again." And then I remembered this was the night after the 20th anniversary of Hank Gathers' death and I was panicking. We love ya, Rodney. You're in our thoughts and prayers and hope you can return to the life you love quickly and in good health.
I gotta admit, I'm die hard for Boston (Kobe Sucks), but its really scary, cause I'm from Michigan. My thoughts and prayers are with Rodney Stucky, and his family, until he gets out of the hospital. Get soon bud. I might want the Pistons to lose, but they need ya Rodney. They need ya.
you dumb @ {youtub3suck} thatz someones life u talking bout. just cause u do crack and all skinny dont talk shit on a NBA PLAYER who is actually doing something with his life.
why did detroit wear white t-shirt being the 'away team'???? and cleveland wore red-................the home team use to wear light clothes, really???
Wow really...his teeammates had no idea what was going on at first....think about it dumbass...if his teammates didn't care they wouldn't have taken 10 minutes praying together....I know Rod personally and have met some of his teammates...they all got love for each other...Oreo from Kent, WA
My god you people are so stupid. Quit acting like it's "the man" denying him treatment. The NBA is surrounded by the best Doctors in the business and they spare no expense. You think Cleveland Clinic is also involved in this conspiracy against NBA players? What a bunch of racist jibberish. One of my best friends was recently hospitalized in a very well known hospital for cardiac care. His heart was beating twice as fast as normal and the hospital had no clue why, they still don't. He's only 34
I hope the Pistons dont just use him for his talent and ignore the obvious medical condition this dude has. They need to exhaust all the possibilities of why this guy had this problem for the second time in his short career in the NBA. I'm almost certain the guy has some type of a heart condition which they will only find out after it kills him and there will be a huge fallout because people will realize that these players are viewed as a commodity rather than a human being by their owners.
Yeah I know these players are filthy rich and all but you would think that they would do extensive research on their body to find out the cause of their problems. However, they dont think that way. They act like punch of herds who needs order from their owner instead of takin the iniative. Rodney Stucky I suggest you use your money to find the best doctors out there ,anywhere(Germans have the best doctors), to find your problem otherwise just wait to die like Hank Gathers and Reggie Lewis.
I think Rodney should be lucky that this happen in Cleveland and not in Detroit. The Cleveland Clinic is the best in the US for heart conditions and one of the best hospitals in the US / World.
@imhood37.....I wasn't insinuating that he would have been going to a "ghetto" hospital I was just saying that the Cleveland Clinic is one of the best in the world and he should be lucky it happened in Cleveland so he could get the best help possible right away. Those doctors that came down to help him where from the Cleveland clinic also.
What you are saying is crazy, there are hundreds of hospitals in America that save people lives everyday even in Michigan. I understand that Cleveland hospital is great, but so are many other hospitals.
again, I'm not knocking on any other hospitals. I'm not saying other hospitals don't save peoples lives everyday. I thought Stuckey had went down with a heart (cardio) problem, so why wouldn't you want to be in "THE BEST HOSPITAL IN THE UNITED STATES FOR TREATING HEART PROBLEMS" If that's a "CRAZY" statement like you say then I guess I'm crazy. Shaq just got surgery on his hand, and flew to MARYLAND were one of the best hand surgeons was....."GET IT?"
You are right about the quality of the Cleveland Clinic, but he would have been just as well-off in Detroit. The Detroit Medical Center, the official health care service provider of the Pistons, has two hospitals in the top 1% in the country in the success of heart failure patients, among other accolades. In Detroit or Cleveland, though, Rodney would have had great doctors to care for him, and that's what matters.
izcraz, who said anything about heart problems? It could have been something as simple as dehydration. That's probably why all the tests came back negative.
Hope he is fine. I really can't believe that even a NBA level player could still have heart problems. I don't know much about him but I hope he is OK.
i guess its not the first time he hasn't been feeling very well during a game, i was reading something about him that a while back he underwent some minor tests on his heart, it wasn't much of a problem but just a small case of dehydration. poor guy just wants to be great at the sport he really loves..!
