Having to cameras would create more visual interest, like doing some back and forth dialog, over the shoulder of characters. The audio is bad. To white balance the camera before filming, will help diminish the yellow look. Adding some "fill" light will help. Maybe all this comes throught a bit rough. Hope you take it as constructive. Good luck, keep working!
The yellow is intentional. It's stylized color correction giving it an amber daylight glow, as all the daytime scenes in this film have. Nothing we could do about lighting since there was nowhere to plug in, but I do agree with you about that. Still, how do lights hold up in 10 degree weather?
I had just gotten this camcorder days before, and this was my first shoot with it. So, my main annoyance has been the automatic exposure control. Drives me nuts. If only I knew then what I know now.
