No offence, but I'd take great care when watching donaldthescottishtwin's version. He claims to be the first in the UK to get this model, but I think he probably tends to gloat now and then.

I'm only just stating the clear facts; that's all.

Not really, The Bachmann one has the same detail as the T.V series model, Which has got: Body, Tender, Wheels, Smokebox, face' handrails and whistle, the Hornby one on the other hand has: Body, Tender, Wheels, Smokebox, face, handrails, Sand boxes, smoke box supports,whistle, cab details, brake for the tender, steps on the back of the tender and brakes, now I think Hornby's is more detailed :P

Basically, the Bachmann one is a toy for kids who want to run Thomas & Friends stuff. Hornby Edward was Hornby's answer to Edward, and a model like him is more for serious modellers who care about quality and detail. =P

Look at the wheels, then at the body, the shade of blue on the wheels is different to the shade on the body work :P

The wheels on Hornby Eddy are perfect, I've got pictures and the real thing sitting beside me in the box, his wheels on mine are the exact same shade to the body :P

I know. Hornby Edward is way better than the bachmann one. No flaws. but all the same, i really like the bachmann one. i like how they built it relative to the real model and the Revs model

I think it the manufactuer of the wheels, I think the machine that makes them is programmed to paint the wheels that one colour...but with a lick of paint, problem solved :)
