  • exercise and increasing oxygenated blood flow to the colon, eating healthy food (a lot of vegetable especially the ones high in fiber, plus fruit), furthermore decreasing stress may be the key.

  • THUMBS UP IF YOU HAVE CROHNS DISEASE AND EVERYDAY YOU FIGHT TO STAY STRONG!

  • I was diagnosed with acute UC in 1999. I was in hospital for 11 days. Up until 2008 I was still chronic and only 10mg of prednisalone a day treated the symptoms. In 2008 I became vegetarian and all symptoms disappeared after 6 months. I came of all UC meds and found I was in remission. But in 2009 I started eating meat again and after 2 months the UC came back so I went back to vegetarian and it went away again with no meds. Eating meat again for 2 months and no UC.

  • i recently have been diagnosed with moderate UC and the medicine i am taking colazal seems to be working but i am just worried about my condition in long term like if the medication is working than can my ulcer come back in the future like if there a way to maintain remission?

  • I have UC, but it has been treated to the point that I havent had a flair, or pain because of my UC for 3 years now. I just started eating natural and organic foods. The problem starts with the additives, chemicals, proccessed, radiated food that you eat and sticks to your intestines. So to treat it is to eat real food. watch my video. good luck

  • also stay away from all junk food, all, fried foods is out, greasy foods out, coffee, chocolates, chilli all is out, eat simmer vegetables, fruits, white meat, and lots of water, fiber, NO BREAD, NO SUGARS, in a month if you follow the advices and take your medicines also whit the guava tea, your antiinflamatories and other prescription medicines for pain, and sympstoms for diarrea you will be cure in a month, take care all

  • @beatryxa

I foudn websites that say to eat breads, english muffins, bagels, white breads..your saying no bread? The other parts tho I agree

  • To cure yourself is a natural free remedy, take a tea made of guava leefs from the guava tree, you made the tea boiling two liters of water and when is boiling put the flame down, put in the pot a bunch of leefs, about 10 leafs, let the tea simmer whitout flame on pot for 10 minutes, drink a cup 8 oz every 6 hours, make more as you need, diet: don't eat white breads, don't eat lard, don't eat red meat, no sugar, eat natural foods as possible, simmer vegetables and fruits, lots of water 4 a month

    TELL ME YO CURE

  • NEED HELP - I HAVE UC

  • DOES IT LOOK LIKE HEMORROIDS ?

  • Oh, and yes, two of the things I used were Vitamin E and Omega-3 Fatty Acids. Although my "healing" involved more than just these, I'll say: Yes, they helped! :)

  • If a miracle is the only option next to chelation, then I must have experienced a miracle. But the miracle is much easier to achieve than you'd expect! I went from SEVERE Chronic Ulcerative Colitis to living a HEALTHY AND NORMAL LIFE in less than a year, WITHOUT SURGERY and (eventually) WITHOUT DRUGS. Check out my video "Conquering Ulcerative Colitis WITHOUT SURGERY : Prologue" and join in the discussion!

  • I have a friend that who has this...

    I will say this....

    type

"Ulcerative Colitis Vitamin E Fish oil"

    in Google... good luck

  • I have both crohns and colitis, and it sucks ass. i'm in pain almost every day all day. but what i found helps the most is eating smaller meals and mostly just medications like steriods

  • Have you tried chelation?

  • Start taking a chelation supplement made by Extreme Health, called "Toxic Heavy Metals". It's at extremehealth's website or earthturns(dot)com

Oh, and also spread the word.

  • can colitis make u depress?

  • Yes, it can, because you continuously feel that pain in your stomach, you start to feel more and more angry every day... That's what happened with me!

  • i felt like my body is against me

    all of a sudden

like my whole left arm be shakin

or my whole body be decreasing.

i felt like my body is dying tho 4real.

I Hate that disease so much

  • Check out IBDvideos channel for more information on Crohn's

  • This guy is giving you lip service.

The only known cure for colitis is Nicotine. Thank me later.

  • Actually the best long term treatment is chelation. In fact, it's the only possible cure next to a miracle.

  • WHAT IS IT ?

  • A compound of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, etc. which work to remove toxins from the body.

  • take as many tests as u can to really find out what u have.my advice would to stop eating red meat as much a possible, get ur iron from pills or other foods...also avoid anything that has acid, and take a food allergy test if u can.. i did and found out that all the foods that i used to eat were the ones causing pain, and ulcers.. because of the test i dont take meds nemore..and althouh most ppl gain weight back after their treatments, im losing because of the cut back on foods

  • I read on these comments 18 months ago that smoking helps. I haven't had problems since. The Doctors won't tell you this. I was in the low 10% of UC patients not getting well. I was bleeding after at least 40 trips to the toilet a day not to mention crapping my pants a few times. From my experience the meds failed. I have since quit smoking though djarum clove cigs are the tastey ones. If you are going thru this now I am praying for you. We all know UC can be a living hell. Light up!

  • ive got colitos its nasty welcome to hell , lost 90 lbs 8 months in hospital have it now 2 years im working on a cure , got to watch what you eat no boose and smoking helps also makes you happy god bless john.

  • i have ulcerative colitis. please help me. see my profle

  • start smoking, it's been 18 months without symptoms for me. I have since quit. try clove cigs they actually taste better than real ones. If you are as desperate as I was you will take my advice.

  • I got my sympthoms 5 years ago, and first it was very embarassing so i wouldnt tell anyone. After about 6 months i couldnt stand the pain anymore so i went to the doctor and they thought i was fine and just had some stomach pain like we all have. So they gave me some pills and they did nothing so i went there again and they said i was lying, the bitch had her menstrabuting and acted like a cunt so i threw my shoe at her so i got kicked out of the hospital. 6 months later i got to a new hospital

  • This is serious my wife Died from This four years ago. This is very emotional for me....much prayers to you all who have it. May God be with you alwaysz

  • It's not a terminal diaease man. unless it's extreme. I have mild UC and it's annoying as hell.

  • Go on chelation. Use extremehealth's Toxic Heavy Metal formula.

  • I know 1 cause of crohns!!! HUFFING to get high. I huffed blast off when I was 15 and my throat was sore and bubbly looking and got thrush. Got on pills and got rid of thrush but still got sore throats off and on for a while. Then not long after food would up set my stomic. Then finaly one day woke up and had bad direa. • Amazing.....He knows his stuff. I don't think he missed a thing.

  • I just got diagnosed with ulcerative colitis march 7th (im 17..) any tips on how to deal with this new illness :(

  • i was diagnosed last year with ulcerative colitis. i am 19.

just stay away from things that make you sick. evryone responds differently to treatment. your doctors can give you the best advice.

  • Avoid alcohol and smoking.

  • I have had chrohns for 4 years and I was told by doctors in toronto, canada to take pentassa.this drug apparently is 50% aspirin and as far as I know aspirin is not very good for your stomach. Also what I have been told is about 70% of people with chrohns have parts of their intestines removed.Maybe the medication is not helping in the long run. any one heard anything about this product

  • Yes aspirin can cause gastritis or inflammation of the stomach. I dont know pentassa since it is in Canada, but a second opinion from a different doctor may be helpful. Surgery is the last resort.

  • I have had UC since I was 5..I am now 50..the trick for me have been probiotics..my first Doc was Dr. Crohn when he was treating President Eisenhower...Yes 45 years and still alive..and doing well. Each your yogurt...

  • i have colitius and i sometimes smoke weed. How smoking weed and just smoking make effect on it or it doesnt.

  • Its been proven that smoking actualy reduces the risk of colitis. In the US people are beging to use nicotine patches as a treatment

  • That is the truth

Nicotine Cured the living hell I went through

    with Colitis

  • I was diagnosed when i was 5. I'm 16 now. I haven't had a major flare in 4 years. Just recently had a colonoscopy to get polyps removed, and they got in my colon and the polyps were gone! And according to my doc who is the President of University Hopsitals in Cleveland Ohio, my colon looks completely normal.

  • Very good video! He covers all the important aspects of these diseases, I think.

  • I "got" my crohns when i was 9 years. now im 20 and still alive ;)

  • I have it too, I am only 21 and I have had it since I was 18... I was on Asacol for 3 years - 3 pills a day - but the medication is very expensive - I just researched AloeELite and ordered it - I hope it works...

  • My UC went away when I stated Smoking. I read it here

4 months ago. And it works!!!

  • sorry my mistake i take 2 asacol not 1 .

  • i take 2 slippery elm bark tablets 1 aloa vera gel tablets and 1 asacol after breakfast every morning and i no longer bleed and i only go to the loo twice a day , it works try it . give it atleast a week to kick in and dont give up on it ok . i know what your goin through everyone and i soo feel for you all . hope this helps you ...

  • i`m 28 and have been sick since i was 19. shit is tough to deal with sometimes

  • I was just diagnosed with UC today...I can't believe this bullshit. I was expecting to be told I had internal hemorrhoids. When the doc told me "here take this medication six times a day." I said "for how long?" He says "indefinetely." My heart just dropped. Looking up the long-term effects of this disease is just making it so much worse.

  • My mother passed away from complications from Crohn's 2 years ago (she battled it for 25+ years) and now I am starting to have symptoms of this horrid disease. To those that have this disease may God be with you and my prayers are with you and it's not in your head. Don't *EVER* let a doctor tell you that!

  • uc since 94 , now 37 years old, read infection the uninvited universe by Gerald Callahan. Interesting stuff about studies with pig whip worms or something like that.

  • ps. i am not saying your work is rubbish, im a time served uc victem, just try uc for a year and i bet your view on it is different

  • I have UC - have had it for 7 years.Got it in my last year in college and had to drop out and redo the final year. Condition sucks but it seems to react well to my tabs - at one stage i was taking 12 tabs a day. crazy. I have to say that apart from the volume of medication I lead a v v normal life - but - Im very worried that if and when i have kids they will have UC too. Anyone have experience of that??

  • drug companys dont make money when your well, simple answers are the truth

so why do goverment make things so hard to get into the mainstream. problem, reaction, solution.

if everyone needs medication then you are not free, thus YOU BECOME DIPENDENT ON THEM, so lets start at the basis of life, your body defends itself, and if you modify the way your body heals, it forgets how to heal.

  • modern drugs are shit, doctors are repeters, and our body is our own, so why do we trust other people with it, cause thats the way we are programmed, if doctors can not do anything what do they say? "just cut it out, it will be ok" tell them to cut it out for a change

  • I have UC, and now primary sclerosing Cholangitis, and portal vein thrombosis (a condition related to UC)I am female and have 3 children, I had my kids before I found out I had PSC, my children 10-13 years are all very healthy. Hopefully this will help you.

  • Hey had i don't now.I take Primal Defense which is a good bacteria that most Americans are lacking it diet.Takes about a month to kick in but it works.

  • have it

  • ive had uc for 5 years now and nothing what doctors say or do seems to change the outcome of my day.

i belive that this is a problem of modern day food trents or other shit we have been forced over time(vacinations, clorine):(

  • ive had crohns for 3 years now, had to have part of my bowel removed n have an ileostomy for a year, was a nightmare, its now been removed n im now in remission, lets hope it lasts!
