18 minutes to intercept a domestic plane? More like 76 if you include the 60 minute difference from EDT to CDT. That doesn't excuse the fighters at Andrews not protecting Washington. Even the flying ones idling near the already hit WTC could've intercepted flight 77 near Washington by only going there at 500 mph.
the payne stewart case is pivotal - and has been highlighted as a response guideline - i've read articles about it and timelines vary but as Alex says here - the plane was intercepted after less than 20 minutes - now has there been a cover up and change of times on the internet or have people confused the time zones of edt and cdt - it seems the intercept time was 75 odd minutes - is this true? did all the journalists that spoke of the time to intercept get it wrong? i wanna know
@mooners40 I don't know so much about that and I am not sure of how long it took to intercept that plane, but I have heard that they happened to have a drill or so that day so planes were already up in the air.

I think Alex Jones' biggest mistake is thinking anyone in the media cares what he says. It's not a big club; it's often the case that journalists act independently of their employer and each other. The idea that it can all be controlled so that things don't get out is ridiculous. The reason they're not writing about it is because they don't think it's true.
