I went ther last summer and i almost cried. I know it's fake and all, but I love the movies. When I went, I felt like I was in the world of Jurassic Park. The ride was also pretty good, and I saw the velociraptor hacthing, even named it. I was in a state of awe.

you know you guys go on and on about how fake it is, but doesn't what they say show how much they love what they do? Its the same with people who write books or movies. They've brought the Jurassic Park island to life and in doing so make it more fun for the visitors. Who cares if its impossible. The entire theme park is built off adventures, dreams, and fantasy! :)

It's funny, but we do have to keep in mind that most of this amusement park was created for FUN and ENJOYMENT. Little kids love this kind of thing, and those of us that are older understand that it's just make-believe. They are actors...they're supposed to fuel our imaginations and make us feel as if it is real. So cut them some slack, okay?

@Weist96 I just think for a DINOSAUR ride, putting it outside was a bad idea. The animatronics and skin have to deal with the harsh elements, whereas an indoor ride can fare much better and be more complex. When the Hollywood JP opened, it was purportedly the most expensive ride ever built, and when I went on it the opening weekend, I felt like... that's it? I'd put a number of rides both at Disney and IOA/Universal above JP. I always wished they'd made the rumored T-Rex Jeep attack dark ride.

The Trike encounter was said to have been closed because the animal had grown too old and unpredictable to be handled by humans anymore. But the reason also was loooong lines and very little encounter. One person from each group would get to interact with the animals. From my understanding, they're still sitting there, falling into disrepair. Thousands of dollars worth of mechanics and molds and development just...rotting away. Like Isla Sorna. Poetic.
