these jeeps are well designed for offroad not great axle articulation but the short wheel base good clearance and tons of torque from that straight six seems to pull it through anything.

i got a 1977 CJ7 and i live buy a lake so when the ice was melting i went cruising and was in about 1 1/2 feet of water and my distributer got wet anysudgestions on how to keep it dry?

If you're sincerely interested I have 4 BF Goodrich MTR 35 x 12.50 on 15 inch rims / wheels. The tires are in very good shape the wheels are rusty. Wheels are 5 on 5 1/2 ( fits old Ford and CJ's) I can take photo's of them if interested, but I don't know how in the hell to send them to Austria.

I used to have a CJ-7 for fun and miss it. I now have a Cherokee I use for work and have been stuck in the mud and big ruts a few times. Both with in-line 6 cyl. Jeep are cool.
