Christian scientists recognize that the things science fails to explain must have come from the supernatural.

In a sense, everything is natural. A real scientist would not say that something exists based solely on their religious background. They would need proof. I am not saying God does not exist, I am saying that we have no proof of him as of yet. Personally, I believe people have given nature a body, as the ancients did.

@peaceluvr1110 I went to a public high school that had thousands of students. There was a lot of different races and different types of people. We had tons of gays and lesbians... No body can prevent one from using the word gay in school. Everybody knows that is impossible because of the first amendment. There was even a day that all the gays in my school taped their mouth shut to raise awareness of all the gays in the school.
@sk8ingwillkillme Now I'm sure if one gets bullied, being gay isn't the only reason for it. It usually has to do with ones personality issues and being unable to understand others and cooperate fairly. Anyways teachers talk about issues like gay marriage but I've never heard one being able to talk about religion other then probably islamic issues. Kids have gotten kicked out of classrooms for refusing to stop speaking on faith based answers. Teachers have even gotten sued.

I agree totally. Gay people are people too. They shouldn't be treated anymore differently than straight people. And it really makes me sad that this is even an issue. And sometimes, gay relationships last longer and are more genuine than straight ones. So I say, Why not?
@Kursinphists Because what if a kid wasnt exposed to homosexuality, or were taught that it wasnt right. They might not be happy with ANY of the people of a different gender that they are with but they might never register this as they being gay. They might NEVER find out that these feeling towards the same sex might mean they're gay and MAYBE they could never be happy.

In a sense, everything is natural. A real scientist would not say that something exists based solely on their religious background. They would need proof. I am not saying God does not exist, I am saying that we have no proof of him as of yet. Personally, I believe people have given nature a body, as the ancients did.

No body can prevent one from using the word gay in school. Everybody knows that is impossible because of the first amendment. It usually has to do with ones personality issues and being unable to understand others and cooperate fairly. Anyways teachers talk about issues like gay marriage but I've never heard one being able to talk about religion other then probably islamic issues. Kids have gotten kicked out of classrooms for refusing to stop speaking on faith based answers. Teachers have even gotten sued.

@godlypoems1 I'm not ignoring it. I admit God exists. I just don't worship Him. I don't like the Bible, and since I don't like the Bible, I guess I don't like God. I don't get uncomfortable when people talk about Him - I go to a Catholic school, and yet I STILL don't worship or follow God. And sure, He loves everyone but those who don't worship Him, don't do His every whim, and are gay. If He made everyone in His own image, why is it such a sin to be gay??? Hmmm??? Answer me that.

@rmar298 well wouldn't it be difficult to answer that if you don't believe in the bible, and so much worse don't like GOD. He loves all but those who rebel against him for he has gave all life and the very gift of love. In my opinion the catholic church is kinda screwy for they have killed saints and I know they worship one of the murders as their own saint. He has made humans in his own image but we still have the gift of free will and possibility for honor. It is a sin to be gay......

@sk8ingwillkillme because it is perversion to human nature and is deceptive of the true meaning of love, or at least the full embodiment of it as the Creator imagined for us. We were not created and forced but have the opportunity to be considered somewhat worthy. Gays cannot naturally have a baby and GOD has made it this way on purpose.

There is really no why to prove any of it has happened, other than it was written down but so was Harry Potter and that's just a story.

Against bullying, I love all people including homosexuals, but I am not ok with homosexuallity itself. Jesus died for us ALL and we are ALL sinners, no matter what the sin. One sin is not better or worse than any other. Just like no one person is better than any other. There is only One who is good and that is God. (Jesus)

If you love all people, why is it okay for God, the one you worship, to not? I'm really just curious. I'm bisexual and I am not asking for forgiveness, and if there is a Hell, I wouldn't mind going.

@GenuinelyHappy One of the many good things about God is that He gave us free will. We can choose to accept the free gift He gave us or we can choose eternity without Him. God loves EVERYONE. Including you. It is sin that God hates, not people. The difference is that some of us choose to recieve the free gift God gave and our sins are covered by the perfect blood of Jesus and some of us choose to ignore that free gift. We all have the choice- Heaven or Hell...

@GenuinelyHappy Ignoring God doesn't change the fact that He is God and that He loves you. God is not a discriminator of persons. He causes it to rain on the just and the unjust and ALL sin is the same in His eyes. I am just a sinner saved by grace. There is nothing I can do on my own to make myself better. The only good in me is from Jesus. If you knew what Hell was, you would not choose it... Hell is eternal separation from God with no chance for forgiveness. Your choice...

No one has to like the idea of homosexuality or even accept it but NO ONE should be "bullied beaten and bashed" and forced to kill themselves because they cant take the bullying anymore. I agree totally. Gay people are people too. They shouldn't be treated anymore differently than straight people. And it really makes me sad that this is even an issue. And sometimes, gay relationships last longer and are more genuine than straight ones. So I say, Why not?

@Kursinphists Because what if a kid wasnt exposed to homosexuality, or were taught that it wasnt right. They might not be happy with ANY of the people of a different gender that they are with but they might never register this as they being gay. They might NEVER find out that these feeling towards the same sex might mean they're gay and MAYBE they could never be happy.
