If god indeed OWNS everything, is IN CONTROL of everything, KNOWS everything before and the FUTURE of everything, then WHAT is the purpose here to PUNISH or REWARD, if this information is ALREADY KNOWN ??? It wasn't arrogant of the apostles to tell truth at all. A proof was offered to them, they saw the works of Glorius Jesus. Man was but a tool to write the books in the bible. Witnesses walked with Jesus to profess his wonders and to learn what it is to love with no restraints. The spirit filled the apostles as they wrote what was a gift to you and me, 66 books compiled into one. You live in this program of order that rages against entropy, yet you deny the programmer. I can see your side of the argument, I once shared in that argument. But due to the program in which we live, it professes a programmer. God placed every star in the heavens and knows them by name. God knows the number every hair on your head. I find it very easy to believe he could get information in its perfect form to you and I. There is a reason the bible is the oldest (most translated) book in the history of known existence. There are prophecies in the bible that scream "TRUTH".

The study of physics help concrete my beliefs in a Creator, once I established there was a creator, it all came together. The point is, Christ has been misrepresented by many, and it's due to peoples unwillingness to read the Bible. If you read the Bible, you will clearly see that Jesus didn't teach violence. As a matter of fact he told Simon Peter "Those who live by the sword die by the sword". He taught Mercy, forgiveness, peace love and Joy... It's safe to say that the Bible and the Koran hinder a society's ability to make further scientific/medical progress because of "moral responsibilities"--so far it's prevented us from using stem cells (which, as you know, are helpful in treating a wide variety of diseases), and from cloning (which could help us harvest organs for people dying of organ failure/diseases/cancer).

The critical point of Christianity focuses on Jesus being the absolute truth and path to salvation. This challenges the other belief systems as it does not allow for alternatives. John 14:6 - Jesus said, I am the way and the truth and the life, no man cometh to the Father but by me.

God is love and He does not want His creation to be separated from Him. That is why we are under mandate of love to share the gospel of Jesus and His death and resurrection to life: atonement for sin.

Faith is belief in the absence of evidence. Clearly there is not "nothingness". There's plenty there. It's just that it's based on what we know (evidence) - there's stuff we don't know, but I for one am certainly not hanging on to a "god of the gaps". It's been proved wrong too many times.

I did not get to add. Real Christians actually lean toward a pro Jewish bias and we actually draw the wrath of Islamic groups because of it. I have been to Israel many time actually and used to sit in temple service to work on learning Hebrew.

Seems like you have a fixation on man's works and not God. God is: and God is love. God alos has expectations for His creation for good and will justly deal with those who reject His Word. I was called to speak that and open His Word. Forgive me that I have wasted your time and not been able to demonstrate the love of Jesus in sharing the Word God.
