Coach would've made a better drama than sitcom. Seriously, it was hard to keep a willing suspension of disbelief that the lady who owned their fictional "Orlando Breakers" (Jacksonville Jaguars, basically) NFL expansion franchise would actually trade the first round draft choice for a pair of cruise tickets. If that ever actually even remotely came close to happening, the NFL Commissioner WOULD step in and force an immediate sale.
would,nt this be a great tune for your clock radio ,i think u would be in a better mood if you woke up to this tune ,someone needs to look into this !
@MrFisherman17 Same here! Actually I was born the very day it premiered: February 28th, 1989. :) I wish they would release more seasons on DVD, though (only the first 3 are out--there are 6 more to go).
Yep ! still brings a smile to my face when i hear this theme ,a great happy tune ,didnt and still dont understand american football ( even when they dont use there feet ) but great theme ,i want this tune for my mobile .
@SIRSMITH08 I thought so. As cousins across the water, we are all different in one way or another. You all love Football (Soccer) and we love American Football. I guess the closest sport you have to American Football is Rugby, yeah?
@pjester08 yes , you should call it american rugby ! that would make more sense , the only american sport i follow (or try as its not on british tv anymore ) is baseball ,a great game .
@SIRSMITH08 would you happen to know where i can watch the show? this is my 2nd favorite of all time and netflix took it off instant :( i miss it sooo much!
you must was born 1995 on up. "Coach" was a popular sitcom of the 90's. Such as Martin,Living Single,Smart Guy,The Jamie Foxx,The Steve Harvey Show,In Living Color,Step By Step,Boy Meets World,Roseanne,Roc,The Wonder Years,Moesha,Good news,Sparks Sparks & Sparks & The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.Chip N Dale,Dark Wring Duck,The Drew Carey Show,The Wayans Bros.
I am sorry my friend but you can not say step-by-step with out saying it nerdy lead in Family Matters . LOL but really all those shows were so much better than the shows now.
@randomwhiteguy8784 1st, we don't need that language. 2nd, learn some respect for other people's favorites. personally, this one was my second favorite (Andy Griffith first) but i'm still going to respect everyone else's.
@luxy009 I've done everything to try and get them. They will not be released on DVD is what I read somewhere. Apparently it's some of the actors in the show that aren't agreeing to the amount of money they'd receive for releasing the rest of the series'. I'm really bummed about it, because it's such a hilarious show. Hopefully someday we can actually buy all the rest of the seasons
I wish to point out that nothing tommyboy6494 posts is to be taken serioulsy as tommyboy6494 and the tommoyboy6492 accounts that the user runs are 100% without merit. tommyboy is 100% full of shit and just likes to piss others off. The final scene takes place back at the Fox's cabin in the Minnesota woods. Two seven year olds that look just like Luther and Dawber would have at that age come to the door and the little "Luther" starts pounding on the door, which brings a seven year old "Timmy" to answer the door in Hayden-like fashion. "What are you guys doing here it's seven o'clock in the morning?" The Luther kid walks in followed by the Dawber. "What's for breakfast?" Tim replies, "When are you guys gonna get a life?"
Hayden, Christine and the baby sit outside on the dock outside of Hayden's cabin in the Minnesota woods. He tells Christine that he's turning down Doris' offer, and that they should move back to Minnesota. An idea Christine quickly embraces.
The ending is rather anticlimactic. With Hayden and Christine deciding to move back to Minnesota, Luther announces his retirement from coaching. As a retirement gift, Doris builds him a replica of Graceland.
True to her word, Doris fired Howard. He and Shirley sell their Barbie doll collection and open a dinner theater in Jupiter, Fla.
Dawber, meanwhile, remains with the Breakers and they go on to win back to back Super Bowls. After that, Dawber joins the Monday Night Football team.
