We walked through St. Bernard Project every day on our way to French Quarter in the years before Katrina.

There was NO DAMAGE & NO WATER up in those buildings. It is ONLY the fact

that WEALTHY ELITES want black people OUT OF THE CITY so they can TAKE

the land for CONDOS for rich whites. THAT is the TRUTH! New Orleans USED TO BE a great place to live and visit if you were a REGULAR WORKING PERSON because there was lots you could do with little money. The RICH want that ended.

If people want to live there, and lived there before, by what right can government keep them out? Perhaps there are some rights the government has to do so... but it doesn't include gentrification.
