  • i love the ocean, just got my PADI, cant wait to get back in the water.

  • would have thought the visibility there would be better. was there a storm? going for the first time in a week. already been to San padro Belize, Cozimel, plya del carmen- twice, and barbatos. so far the best spot was in plya the 1st time we went

  • Cool pics

  • Nice video.....I just got my PADI open water cert in December! Keep up the great work.....lol

  • The "dead reef" look is mostly due to water absorbing light. This affects the colors you see underwater.Differant colors of the Spectrum are absorbed at different depths depending on the wavelength of the color. Low frequency reds are absorbed first-High frequency Blues and Violet last. While the reefs of the Lower Keys are far from pristine, this video has some nice examples of Keys DIVIN!

  • He says he went snorkeling. I doubt he was snorkeling deep enough to lose any reds or oranges. It was probably just were he was snorkeling. Also, things don't look dead? they just lose color and become blue/grey to the naked eye. bring a light for deep dives. Reds go completely at like 40-50ft

  • i just went snorkeling in key west yesterday and i went down to touch a nurse shark,.....all of the reefs look so dead i thought it was just the tops of them but almost all the way down like in this video the reefs look dead
