  • I'm going for the 2012 model..

  • did he say.... "a women rider?" 0:22

  • Ps I'm 6"1 200 lbs with 5 years experience my last bike was 07 gsxr 750. But I haven't really ridden since 08 thanks.

  • I want 1 I think! I had 3 crotch rockets and lover them but I'm looking to sit up a little more and get better gas to commute. Is this bike gonna be to slow? Please help me!!!!!

  • @kyjelly5524 is 135mph to slow for you?

  • bro! you don't want to take that thing or any crotch rocket for a long trip or ride. Trust me on this one.

  • im 5'5, 16 years old. do you think the 250cc would suit me as a beginner rider? thanks

  • @schecterguitarsfan i am also 16 and i had a 250r, it was great at first but it is practically screaming going 70mph, and i got very bored of topping out at 87mph, i would definitely go with a 600cc and up, a 500 is pretty much the same as a 250 with the lack of power and speed

  • Is this a 2 seater?

  • @nathanielkowal its a single long seat, you can see the pillion pegs by the exhaust, so two riders is a go

  • ugly

  • @yannick4123 your ugly dude... this bike is sexy... except for that fender/ licence plate holder

  • I'm 6'6 and weigh 222. I'm considering buying a 650r. I'm trying to see if there is anyone around my height who has ridden this bike before and can tell me how it feels to them as far as comfort. I already know that I'm going to look huge on the bike

  • @NightmaresAngel1 got dam tall and light

  • 000

  • meo pai tem uma a 20 dias com 90 km rodados a velocidade maxima e 220kh

  • Is the 650 a good beginner bike for a 5' 1" rider or would the 250r be better?

  • @freedom08 250 will always be better for a beginner.

  • @freedom08 they're both fine

  • This or sv650? I don't care about specs all that much but i'm having trouble finding the better looks on both bikes. I like the front of the ninja and hate the banana seat on the ninja. I like the rear of the sv650, seats, and the front I don't mind much. Riding positions are different, I sat on both at the dealers and i feel comfortable on both in different ways... Does the sporty riding position of the become less comfortable when ACTUALLY riding? Or is it "you get what you see"?

  • Nice job on the headlights!

  • Does he say woman rider? How does that have to do with anything

  • if you are a beginner look at it like this, you can buy a 250cc motorcycle or scooter whatever you wanna call it but but either way, they are both extremely under powered, i would only say get a 250 if you are girl, shorter than 5'5 and have never ridin in your life. i started out on a 650, never operated a motorcycle or dirtbike with a clutch or over 100cc before and im fine, and i upgraded to a 600cc a year later.

  • @expexprodigy while i agree a 650r is a great bike in some places the insurance is killing (10.000+/yr) for 600cc+ motorbikes so u have to get 250r or a 500r for the first 2 yrs if u want to ride at all unless u wana go for the shitty ninja 400r.

  • @8059875 i understand your point....just saying a 650 is a good bike to start out with im on a family plan/co-rider deal so its only like 30 bucks a month for me so its quite cheap i have a clean driving record also idk if that makes a difference tho

  • @expexprodigy 30 BUCKS A MONTH!!!!! i envy u so much.

its 10.000+/yr with a clean record with atleast 5 yrs of car driving experience without it ur looking at 20-25k/yr.

I have been driving a cager for almost 6 yrs now. Not a single claim, only a couple minor tickets, and for the 650 i was quoted 10k for the first 2 yrs and then it would drop to 3k/yr and i checked about 35-40 insurance companies and 90% wouldnt even insure a 650 for a new rider. And i have abt 6yrs riding experience back home.

  • weak sauce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I would buy it if it had ABS, only thing i dislike about kawi (I live in Vancouver, it rains ALOT)

  • @Prettyboy411 does it snow a lot in Vancouver? i've only been there once i live in Ontario

  • @BALJIT147 In the winter it does snow, but not as much as Ontario... Snow is not really a problem here (driving wise) With the little snow we do get the roads are salted prior to it usually so its never really been an issue in most of BC (city/large towns). It rains alot, but we also receive the warmest weather in Canada.

  • @Prettyboy411 oh ok thats interesting thank you

  • I fully Recommend the 2011 ninja 650r as a starter bike for anyone I have personal experience as I bought one as my first motorcycle to ever ride an own let me say I am completely happy to own it I have some videos of it riding and a quick review I've had this bike for 1 and a half months and I love it! It's the perfect rounded bike to start and continue to learn on

  • @TheGarrettCoop i live on long island, new york and ive been driving since i was 16, so almost exactly 2 years now. all ive ever driven is a jeep and a mustang for the most part other than my friends cars sometimes. but ive never driven a motorbike ever. never a dirt bike or anything before. would you still recommend the 650?

  • @palxhockey1155 and @e7uber9000

Go with the 650! I am 18 and was in the same situation deciding on my first bike, and went with the 650r, and i couldn't be happier! it's not to much power, but its got plenty that i wont soon be getting bored.

  • I'm very short, only 5'2'' but that doesn't discourage me to ride or from lowering the bike. I'm moving up from my 09 250R which was way too slow for me and Carb is a PITA. I was considering 08+ 650R and 07+ ZX6R. I don't hit tracks, but I do tend to speed for fun and hit up the twisties occasionally during spring/summer/early fall. Would this bike meet my needs? I have a car for traveling/rain/snow. And I'm also wondering, is this rear seat cowl removable? Everytime I see it, it's on.

  • @lajlijthoj it doesn't even have a seat cowl on it. It's just a very large single seat, that seats 2 people. You can buy an aftermarket cowl, but since it doesn't have separate front and rear seats, the cowl just clips on over the back to make it look like a single seat.

  • im 18 and have never ridden a bike before but im highly interested in getting one. is the 650 a good starter or is it safer to go with a 250? i don't wanna look like a pussy but i also don't want to die either lol

  • @palxhockey1155 hahaha same here if you get an answer man you should send me a message lol

  • @palxhockey1155 i would say since your 18 with at least 2 years driving experience (depending on where you live) that I would go with the 650! a lot of people say that a 650 is a terrible starter since there are many careless drivers out there... well thats their fault that they're careless and crash! go with the 650 you won't grow out of it when you get to be a real motorcycle champ!!! :D hope i helped!!

  • @palxhockey1155 well... makes sense that you don't wanna die...

  • hey.. i have cbr 150 and i driving it almost 3yrs.. im planning to buy Kawasaki ninja 650r. but im only 5'5 141lbs. can anyone give me some advice? thx,,

  • im 6'3 225 would this be a good choice for me also?

  • this is a cool bike. I just have 1 question is the CBR 250r a competition bike with the 650r

  • @mike148r prolly not. 400cc dif = no competition. a CBR 600rr would probably be closer

  • Is this bike good for me? Im 6'2" 150, or should i go for the z1000? This will be my first bike

  • Alright, I'm looking to get a ninja 250, or 650 this spring, but it will be my very first bike, I've been around fourwheelers my whole life and I've had a few dirtbikes, should i get the 650? I'm thinking the 650 because there won't be any getting bored with the bike, it's a 650 so it won't be slow even though im not looking for speed, I just wanna have a good bike to start out with that I can just go ride, and when I get more experience go fast hah, would this be a good bike for my needs?

  • @coochiemama511

Hey man. I think this bike is a good starter bike. If you buy the 250 then you will be wanting to trade it as soon as you get used to it. Go with the 650 like i did and enjoy the extra power and size.

  • I'm 319lbs and I'm really wanting this bike but I'm not sure if it's the best choice, any ideas?

  • I have a really serious question.. the guy on the vid says its a good bike for newbies and for CHICKS...

I'm 5'10 and 172lbs.. I went two days ago to try one of this bikes and for me it was freaking heavy...

this will be my first bike ... so im confused now... am I supposed to get something heavier? or how am I supposed to deal with that much weight? lol

  • @luigiboy85

Unfortunately, if you're looking into bikes like the Ninja or ay 650cc bike, you're going to have to learn to be able to handle the weight. There really isn't any way around it.

  • @luigiboy85

stop being a girl, my girlfriend has this bike and shes 5'2 110 and she rides it fine. especially if its your first bike.

and for people that are 6'2 and 300 pounds i dont get why you would want this bike.

  • I'm 5 foot 8" and 137 lbs. Do you think I should get the 650R or is it too big, so I should go for the 250R instead? I've driven a 200 cc for 2 years but haven't done so for the last 2 years after I moved to a different city.

  • hmm question, he mentioned this bike is for shorter riders, im 6 foot tall 200 lbs, is the 650r not a good choice for me? i want to get a sport bike and was looking specifically to get this model, this is the first time ive heard it being generally for shorter riders.

  • @PonyCarEnthusiast

im 5'10, and i can just about get both feet flat to the ground so you should be fine :)

  • @peaky999 Cool thanks bro !

  • @PonyCarEnthusiast

The Ninja 650 has a low seat height that is a real advantage to shorter

riders that some other models do not offer. Even with the nice low seat

height, the bike is comfortable for riders of your size. In fact, a low

seat height helps the bike have a lower center of gravity than some others.

  • @KawasakiTV...well I'm 5'8 abot 140-lbs would this be good for me. and can you by a lowering kit to lower it? To be honest I never driven a bike there for own a Bike. I was planning on buying a Ninja 250R but all my friends to me that I will out grow it and get bored. they told me to upgrade for the future. I guess that kinda why Im asking these question. I feel more comfort buy the 250Ronly cause the weight wise. I plan on taking a Motorbike course as well so that should help.

  • I was wondering....let's make a scenario :

If you parked your Kawasaki or any other bike on the street in front of lets say your work....can't any one drive a winch and hold your bike up to it....and then make it start without the key....?

he stole it ....can this happen ?

    i am really serious

  • Ninja?! holly sh... than I did my licence on a ninja! my instructor told me it is calld ER-6... :D.. just joking :)

  • says some words to happy

  • Mucho lujo....! ;)

  • Ninja? Interesting. In Europe we call this one ER-6f - a chick bike.

  • @kocbaya63 horseshit!

  • @FebalanceChaosCrew Really. Check some EU sites and see it for yourself. It needs a little more kick to deserve to be called a Ninja. I'm not saying it's a bad bike, just not Ninja material. Chicks really dig this one. We also use it in training for drivers license.

  • @kocbaya63 well, im new to bikes man, and i don't wanna kill myself or destroy my bike in a month :D plus it's pretty cheap on gas etc...

  • @FebalanceChaosCrew Like I said, not a bad bike, just not a Ninja. And good for you if you're taking this slow. I wish there would be more guys thinking like you do. But don't be fooled there, you can kill yourself with this bike just as easy as with any stronger one. I started on a gentle bike myself when I did my transfer from motocross to street bikes.

  • i was planing on buying myself a 250r for my 16th birthday but i'm 5'9 and 250 lb's and i figure the 650r would handle a little extra heft better any suggestions for a bike that would be good for a slightly bigger beginner?(btw i have 10 grand for the bike and gear i just don't know what the best bike would be)

  • @cwkall01 honestly, at the age or 16, get a smaller bike. the insurance would be generally high.

trust me, im in the same position. my birthday was the 22nd of august and im 6'1 at 238. at 5'9'' your at the good size for a ninja 250. this eases the cost of insurance. ride that for a year, then get this beast or the er6n. (er6n is smoother and more comfortable for someone bigger)

  • the 650R is slower than the 600 as the 65R is a Restricted model for lerner riders. The 600 is all out and not held back at all

  • why is the 650 is alot slower then a 600 or what are the main differences?

  • @mcturk17 2 cylinders vs 4 cylinders is the gist of it

  • im 18 6' 1" 200lbs i wanna ride i was thinking about the 250r but i think i might have to move up later an i dont really have the money for that do you think this would be the right bike for me?

  • @jasonschmidty01 as long as you take it easy on the throttle while you're still learning this bike should be good for you to learn on

  • @jasonschmidty01 insurance man. im starting on the 250. riding a year on that, then when i jump to this or the er6n the insurance will be the same on the 250. that small investment will really help.

  • get a 250 if you're a 16yr old girl :) Trust me start with 650R

  • ive been looking at bikes for awhile and i plan on getting one sometime soon, i like the ninja style kind of sport bikes but im 6'2 and about 190lbs and im a beginner..so i dont think the 650 would be good for me but ppl say the 250R would be too small? any help?

  • This is my first bike. I went through the MSF course which is a training coures and once your done you get your license endorsement. I like it a lot, and had no problems managing it even within the first week of having it. Its pretty friendly and forgiving.

  • @Dragoneyes495 The 250 is a lot smaller in size. I have a 250 and a 650r next to each other and all i can say is the 650r is a much better bike

  • I learned on the 250ninja and I'd recommend you to do the same (or even the 500). It's lighter, cheaper insurance, better on gas and fast enough to get you around until your ready to upgrade. And for the passenger...... skinny ladies are always easier to ride with over the larger kind.

  • lol 650 for a new rider!!! if u wanna die lol

  • @FreshNoobDancer Well, that depends on a lot of parameters. If one is heavy, or stronger, they can carry the weight of a 650R. Also, if the person had previous experience with two-wheeled motor vehicles (i.e. electric bicycles), it should be fine.

  • Kawasaki provides the most lush colors a bike can have

  • @astralsublime

I think Hondas CBR does better.

  • I have an 09...... a gear position indicator would be nice without having to go aftermarket

  • same mate :L

    white for me :)

  • *sick

  • Getting mine in two months suck

  • my mate has one of those it is fuckn shithot

  • great new front .... But weighs over 30lbs more than the 06-07 models.. With no more hp/tq... Hmmmm....

  • Little wilder rear fender again, wilder underseat, and a little of black colour on the lower bodywork will be very nice!

The bike will look much more "sporty", little more similiar to SS Kawi bikes, in which way it started to go, by changing the front of it.

But still, imo, it looks much more better then in 08'. ;-)

    Keep up good work.
