  • hey how can u put this in the cam??? did u a hole with drill on u own camera???

  • @shamash The camera needs to have a tripod mount on it.

  • @Knoptop Great Videos!! :)

  • Is it strong enough to hold a DSLR?

  • Another suggestion is the Sim Quick Connect from Amazon. I think I got it for $10 to $12. It is a quick release that you can mount on any 1/4"-20 screw. Works great for my PVC shoulder rig and old tripod.

  • you should make a shotgun mic boom pole, plz

  • @DeepFriedPoopHeads I agree with you!! I need that also! Please make a shotgun mic boom pole! :D

  • Really great tutorial! The quality was great. And you also made a great tutorial without talking. I usually hate these because I never understand it, but you showed everything!

  • Really good video! keep it up!

  • Please send one of them to me i built the rig and couldn't find the conduit electronic box please please please send me this !!

  • You should definitely glue that plug inside the pvc coupling. Otherwise, I foresee a badly damaged camera in your future.

  • How dose a DSLR LOOK ON IT?

  • Predrill! Caught you! :-P nice job.

  • While using your socket wrench to push it through it looks like you're dancing to the music :D

  • Great Video!

  • i find it ironic that the first episode after you get the zoom there is no talking.

  • @zimbloggy LOL!

  • good stuff as always Dave. Keep it up.

  • Excellent tutorial! :D

  • @Knoptop hey dave, i remember you said something bout shoulder rig version 2.0. was it on vimeo ?

but anyway, any update on that sweet shoulder rig ?

  • @Songkhi it may be ready in Nov. I'm still testing some stuff. stay tuuuned.

  • @Knoptop not really anything would do :)

  • hey knoptop I use a itouch to record my videos and the audio is horrible. Is there any cheap external mics you know off. Like that clip onto ppl's shirts.

  • Isn't it 1/4 thread?

  • @lwj033 yep.. 1 & 1/2inch long bolt 1/4-20 thread

  • I liked the way you zoomed the camera when you showed it up close. had a cool feel to it!

  • Pretty cool...and under $10. I wonder if there are equivalent pieces in black ABS.

  • that was great, but what is the purpose of the washers, no I'm not construction stupid, just don't get it.

  • @IAmTheFarmer The 'coupler piece has a lip inside in the center. The larger washer sits perfectly on that lip the other washer spaces the bolt, and the lock washer insures the bolt won't unscrew. With the 3 washers in place it allows the head of the bolt to stick out at the perfect height while still being tightened completely.

I guess another method could be to glue the plug in and simply just screw a bolt in in place, but it could loosen over time.

  • yeah always want to know how to do one thanks knoptop !
