was the frame modified or can the stock suspention travel that low. i figured that bump stops and maybe shock mounts need to be moved or something. just wondering bout the frame. looks rad!
yes, caddy is gone so that could fund that turd in the background. it's a 1957 chevrolet suburban that I'm putting the body on a new chassis with air ride all around/4wheel disc brakes/ ls1 motor with 4l60 auto, and vintage air. It will lay the frame on the ground when finished.
If your local ( FL )we can do it for you. I am actually about to pick up a 65 coupe in the next few weeks for a shop car. We did one about 3 years ago. 727-230-6886
its all good brother im just saying for anywhere from 50-80 dollars you could improve that and i think you would find it more enjoyable with better valves
I have a 65 cadillac that I would love to do air ride suspension on but I can't find a kit. Can you help point me in the right direction?? AirRide Technologies does a few cadillacs but not the 65.
That's bad ass.

Is the engine all original? I am thinking about getting one and understand that it SUCKS gas but was wondering the mpg.
Thanks.
midnightvampire49321 2 years ago
not to sound like a dick but if you have to wonder about gas and the cost of it then you should not get one.
Themadmarine1 2 years ago
My guess is 10 mpgs or less, but who really cares!
If I was blessed with a mid 60's caddy...coupe nevertheless, I wouldn't care what it cost to fill her up!

I, on the other hand, love the slow valves getting the big body down on the ground.
Would buy that Caddy in a snap if I would ever had the funds.
By the way, is that another project back there?

DawgCatcherFab 3 years ago
yea i don't really care about how fast or slow it goes up and down. more about the overall stance and ride to me.

@smithncustom I think the slow valves are better!
