Awesome - I am intrigued to see what you think about it. Jean-Claude Ellena is a genius yet I am still undecided on the Terre d'Hermes and the Td'H parfum. I am hoping they will grow on me as is sometimes the case. Ellena's Concentrée D'Orange Verte is one of my all time favourite scents and a work of pure minimalistic art. If you ever favourably review that, I might just have to marry you. What's wrong with bigamy where fragrance is concerned?

can you once like and use a so masculin scent? like Cool Water(Davidoff), or the old Herrera for men? and what do you think of Fahrenhie(Dior) ? I new a woman who used it .

Cool Water is a classic men's fragrance, but so popular that it's played out when guys wear it. But it actually takes on a new life when a woman wears it, I think.

And Dior Fahrenheit is actually one of my very favorites! Woman could easily wear this one, as well as Chanel Égoïste (the original, not the platinum version). I wear Égoïste, as well as Ormonde Man & Tom Ford for Men Extreme. I do love woody, leathery, spicy scents. But I'm not a fan of those sneezy, so-called "sport" colognes.

When I first subscribed to your blog, I was in love with incense. Not anymore. I'll always have a fondness for it, but something changed.

I found a cool book called "Essential Oil Wisdom." Sounds a little hippy-dippy, but the premise is that your nose leads you to what is psychologically healthiest for you in the form of scent preferences, like craving lavender means you need to be more open-minded.

There's gotta be reasons for our likes!

Thanks, k58 - I'm wearing a combination of gloss and and something else, and I can't remember what the "something else" is. But the gloss is from Target, and the brand is Pixi, and the color is "Amfinite". (It has a weird burnt-marshmallow smell not dissimilar to Pink Sugar!) I think I was wearing another pale peachy gloss with it - maybe Bobbi Brown "Petal".

I find it does last well on the skin. And speaking of rare concentrations for men's fragrances, there's now a Terre d'Hermès parfum out! I had just a brief encounter with it today - am looking forward to investigating further.
