  • i love airplanes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i get so excited right before i go on one. it gives me a huge adrenaline rush

  • I'm going to miss AirTran. Business Class, assigned seats, wifi, XM Radio, cheap fares, (sigh) I'll miss AirTran.

  • @commodorefan2 who dosent hate SouthWest

  • No TV??? JetBlue is better!

  • I'd ride airtran anyday!

  • I guess that would depend on what you're looking for in an airline. They're a budget airline so the perks are not the same as your more expensive airline. You'd just have to give up some things, like the free food or what not. (you get a canned soda and some pretzels on most flights) That being said, if you're trying to get from point A to B in a timely manner I would recommend them, Most of my flights arrive on time or early and they have an excellent safety record in the post valu-jet days.

  • What is Airtran like? I may take it to Colorado from California and wanted to know the overall flight, service and is it good to fly?

  • @Paskenta09 airtran not bad good smooth sailing not alot of turbulance no screaming kids everything was good the stews are cuite nice. mt second flight today from atlanta to memphis i was sitting near the engine! my first one i was y the wings i could see everything! i'd say go for it THERE'S NOTHING STOPPING YOU!

  • @Paskenta09 I don't demand in-flight entertainment or gourmet snacks; I bring my own stuff, so AirTrain works for me. :) That said, my AirTran flight had free XM radio at each seat (bring your own headphones/earbuds) and the Wi-Fi (you must purchase) worked well. The staff was friendly and ran a tight ship (they enforced the rules, so don't think you're going to sneak an extra carry-on or personal item!), which I like. All three of my flights with AirTran last month arrived early.

  • huh they dont even fly 737's to Newport anymore now the only connecting flight s are the 717's for PHF (Newport News)! and i love the 717's like you dont even know it

  • IS IT FREE WIFI???

  • @BoyFromHollywood No, the Wi-Fi isn't free, but since the tickets are so cheap, it really isn't that bad to purchase the Wi-Fi password along with your flight. For mine last month, it was about $13. I bought it when I purchased my ticket online. I think it's a little more expensive when you buy it while on the flight. The connection worked great; I was able to watch Netflix during my flight on my iPad. :)

  • 737

  • Is that the 717, or the 737? By the way, how is there Wi-Fi is it fast?

  • this is our 737, and the wi-fi is sattelight you cant beat it, I use it all the time on my laptop when I fly haha jk jk.

  • why not fly Buisness Class????

    coach class=cheep!

  • I think the last words you want to hear on a plane are "Final Destination"

  • lol

  • the wing view looks like eppley airfield. haha cool

  • Nice!! are those seats comfortable?

  • YES THEY ARE

  • It's AirTran AIRWAYS not airlines...and a 737-700...great company btw

  • thanks

  • i use airtran alot none of there planes have no source of entertainment but they back it up with great cusomer servis and low fairs

  • wat do you do in this plane, is there tvs, or movies or anything!

  • uhh, no? it was only a 1.5 hour flight... not even long enough to watch a movie

  • how about from jfk new york to georgia or florida? cuz that must be a boring plane ride with no tvs just radios.

  • well, now they have wi-fi on all their planes, so that's a good upgrade.. i'll be flying airtran from atlanta to los angeles next month.. i'll be really bored after i get tired of surfing the net.. well, i hope the trip will pay off .. take care

  • i'm leaving for a long flight next week. -if planes have wi-fi just imagine how incredible slow and expensive it would cost. -not including the pay boxes on the toilets and charging for over weight people. lol

  • its a boeing 737-800, its used for mid range flights, you ussualy dont have videos on for short hauls, by the way dont get caught doing this, If im flying its ok because i like watching videos of my airline. lol.

  • What?! AirTran 737's don't have any form of entertainment?! My flight will be pretty boring then...

  • not all planes have those things... it's just something you have to deal with on some flights. If you plan on flying often.. get used to it.

  • 737-700

  • what the hell dude.. you bring an ipod, a book or sleep! most planes dont even have TV's on them.. most the ones that are 5+ hours.

  • @stovicini822 They have Wi-Fi and free XM radio

  • @stovicini822 atleast theres wifi lol... might I refer u to Spirit airlines...lol, you get nothing with them hahaha

  • @Lauderdale876 I flew a 737 from Flint on Airtran (which they stoped flint's 737 last week) and FnT(flint) looks just like newport news

    1. Its small

    2. only flys 737's on night flights to atlanta (like PHF)

    3.the gates look the same

4.i flimed landing but the landing video looks just like this one

  • @darrenhenderson3

My mom flew on the 717 on the FNT-MCO nonstop a couple months ago. A couple weeks later, I took the same flight on a 737. I think it just depends on their schedule

  • @commodorefan2 i think so too

  • @stovicini822 lol yes, the reason I buy a ticket is to watch a movie.

  • @stovicini822 You bring your own entertainment. ;)

  • @BrittenLi i couldnt get intrnet they had a go go program that need me to purchase a price or some shit

  • @stovicini822

AirTran has free XM satelite radio and you can use their wifi for something like $10 for every two hours.

  • this is a retarded question but, was this a boeing 717 or a boeing 737, if you know

  • 737

  • @jstapen it's a 737 however AirTran's newest fleet runs a Boeing 717 free Go-Go WiFi and complementary XM radio, also on their flights they give you snacks and drinks. They also serve Beer and Cocktails for a fee of like 2 dollars i think however if your flying on 1st class it's all inclusive on your flight. (i fly airtran on a regular basis out of BWI and AirTran is my favorite flight to fly on) however southwest is my 2nd favorite. ;D

  • @pklordz you get a free cocktail in first!

  • this is bhan di fuddi

  • I like flying with Air Tran. I Just flew with them last week on my way to Florida. Dec. 19-Dec.26.
