This is well do-able in 10 hours, come on ppl its a hole in the ground and 2 ton of stone, ive dug foundations by hand and this could be done in 6 hours with drinks and spliffs
Ah, I see....The key to building a pond in ten hours is to hire a load of cheap Mexican labour.
Unfortunately, cheap Mexican labour is in short supply in England. Can you suggest an alternative? We have plenty of Poles available. Do they know about pond building?
Nice pond! However, I don't think I could do that in 10 hours. I counted at least 8, maybe more helpers - perhaps some were spectators...and I could only afford myself & the wife (MAYBE) to do the labor. I noticed the long stream you have from the waterfall to the pond. On a hot, sunny day do you have to add water because of all the evaporation?
It was a 10 hours long seminar with more than 8 people and everybody helped. It was still hard to believe it all got done that same day. I wouldn't dream to try it alone. My guess is the water level has to be checked, or they put in a float valve to keep fill it up automatically.
@sajeevan1 Kind of late to be answering this, but I suspect that first layer was an underlayment. It helps to protect the pond liner from punctures due to unseen rocks and roots and the like
Doesn't matter how long you take to build it. Its awesome man....enjoy your pond
