@elephanta2 Well, but he dont´n finish himself in these works. Perhaps you find in sound the floor for your onw thoughts. Howhever the music is not only sound. Really Vangelis too used to has a crash error in this point of his philosophy.
@elephanta2 :-) I understand your tastes. In "Albedo 0´39" the piece called "Main Sequence" is a is a progression from the jazz ( free jazz ) to classical armonies. It is well resume of part of a good concept. Perhaps in Beaubourg you have field for your preferences. The most important aspect in the music is that it carried to us to The Lord.
Well. Today the time in internet is finished to me. The next day i will watch if you have given a new answer. Thank you very much. :-)
I know "Beaubourg" is said his most avant-garde album, but I haven't heard it. By the way, I like his early 70's album, but I don't like Aphrodite's Child. I think "Blade Runner" is influenced by Tangerine Dream "Rubycon".
@elephanta2 Really i think the problem is not a fight between Tangerine Dream and Vangelis, Oldfield or Jarre. The problem is: how they did their best works?. They mixed some of academic knowledges with a great sense of intuition, but today they look like finished. They have not created a formal way to give their manners; so: is there somebody who can obtain the high level of them?. Thanks to The Lord we can find talents today, the group called Redshift, f. e. And the classical music is ever !!.
I haven't heard Jean Michel Jarre, but I uploaded tunes of the developer of laser harp (J.M.Jarre using), Bernard Szajner. His electric music is great. My best is his band project, Zed "Visions Of Dune". Mike Oldfield's early 3 works are not bad, especially "Ommadawn" is nice.
@elephanta2 I have been wathing your chanel; you have a big variety of tastes. In my original lenguage -spanish- "elefanta" belongs to feminine. Are you a man or a woman?. I answer it because if you are a woman you would have an inusual musical path.
By the other side:
-Vangelis, many years ago, composed for Claudio Baglioni
-What are you finding in the sounds maked by Schnitzler?
-I must hear something by Bernard Szajner. Didn´t you heard Jarre really?
If a woman have music taste like me and she is beautiful, I want to get married with her, HAHA! I can upload Baglioni with Vangelis if you want to hear.
Conrad Schnitzler was a true innovator in electronic/synthesizer music!

@elephanta2 The music composed by Vangelis generally has an excelent taste; its colour used to be marvellous. it´s an evidence.

"Heaven and Hell" and "Spiral" are not bad, I know they are masterpieces but I prefer his Greek music flavoured prog jazz rock to them.
