This along with "The Pretender" proves Josh can sing ANYTHING and be believable and relevant. He can be vulnerable and exposed singing a song like this, and then rock the house down with the next song. That kind of range is rare these days, and I really hope America appreciates it.

Soulful rock is what he does best.

However, not just any soulful rock but the ones that most music fans like and are familiar with such as "A Little Help From My Friend" instead of "Jar of Hearts".

It doesn't matter how well a contender sings a song. If it's a song that most music lovers are not familiar with, it would hamper his chance of winning.

I hope Josh will be wise enough to choose songs that have the IT Factor to win the X Factor.

@Wandooney I don't understand why L A Reid criticized Drew for the song choice as if she had any say in choosing the song Skyscraper which he thought was not suitable for Drew. It is absurd that contestants are not allowed to choose their own songs. Even though Josh has the talent to sing songs chosen by Nicole with professional quality performance, an excellent choice of song is still crucial for winning. I think the rule of having songs chosen by the mentors instead of the singers is not fair.
