MSRP and even the prices from Lynn Thompson Special Projects are way high compared to actual retail price. Just shop around.

There are some items that are rubber for practice, but the clubs and the FGX (I think that's the name of it) series are made out of polypropylene. They are not for practice. You can really put a hurtin' on someone with those. I know why you don't like the kukri, but I'd honestly rather have it over the long haul. And the machetes are great lol. I don't mind having to sharpen them. Keeps the price low. Stop being so mean to them :P

Actually, the FGX knives are polypropolyne. They're not training knives; they CAN kill. They're certaintly not as good as steel, but they don't reflect light and don't set off metal detectors.
