"the devilish influence of the Heretic Luther"?! *lol*
Your whole Post makes no sense. First Prussian History (or what you think it is), than suddenly Luther and religion and in the end Geography - and nothing of it has something to do with the original topic. Did you spend 10 minutes on wikipedia to make yourself look better? 'Conversation' is over here. You proofed to be a waste of time.
May God have mercy on us for we not know what we do but we must also have faith in man as well. Only man can stop wars because man made wars. I have seen mutch death and mutch suffering in my time here in battle. I know that I will see more,but it will end soon with peace or my death. I do as my father had done and his father before. I feel no hate or remorse in my life. I only feel love,to you my wife. I will see you soon.
So many died for there families,friends,loved ones and eachother. No matter witch side a human may be on we are human. Watching eachother die is sad but necessary. To be human means to be evil but we are also good. Maybe one day wars on Earth will cease to exsist and man will uninte to fight the enemies of man. Until then all the soldiers of all the nations are equally respectable for they fight for the same reasons we all fight. God smiles on us but he has become sad at us...
if i remember right the Austro-Prussian War was in the 1800's which is the 19th century... not the 18th, in the 18th century the wars between austria and prussia were the war of the austrian Succession and the 7 years war.....
? it's called the Austro-Prussian war OR the German war, since both Brandenburg-Prussia as Austria are relics of the Holy Roman Empire. Austria and it's allies called themselves the German confederation, but there were just as much German's fighting with Brandenburg as there were fighting with Austria
@ziegle9876 ...outside the german realm? Someone needs to update their geographical knowledge. Prussia was a duchy of the holy roman empire within german borders until Frederich (known later as the Great Elector) crowned himself King in Prussia with the unification of Brandenburg and Prussia. Saying the prussians are invasive towards the german realm is like saying boston is invasive in the american realm.
Ummmmmmmmmmm geographically yes, Prussia was outside Germany. But Prussia politically controlled much of Westfalen and Brandenburg as well. Besides that, Prussia had a lot of German satellite states under it's influence, mostly in the North.
And if Prussia was a "revolutionary power outside the German realm", so was Austria! Austria had Bohemia, Hungary, NW Italy, Croatia etc in it's Empire. How on earth are those German?
It was the Deutsche Bund, under Austria's leadership, against an invasive Power called Prussia, situated far to the east and never in the holy roman empire. And above all, Prussia allied itself not only with a few treasonous fiefdoms inside the holy roman empire, but also with the ARCHENEMY that just had been beaten in the Napoleonic wars less than half a decade ago, FRANCE who attacked in the South (Italy) while Prussia attacked in the North.
@ziegle9876 OMG Darling.. go and spend some time into researching History if you're interested in it. But you should 1.) Research and 2.) write comments not the other way around. You're making a big fool out of yourself! East Prussia was a part of a Kingdom named Prussia. And it's core was Brandenburg. There was the very beginning of the Story. East Prussia just lend it's name but it was not so important at all. The important parts of Prussia has been Brandenburg and Silesia..
@Cerinthey SIlesia? You mean the part of the Bohemian Crown legitimately under the Habsburgs the Prussians stole with he help fo the French? And the Margraviate of Brandenburg, really at the core of the Holy Roman Empire, that under the devilish influence of the Heretic Luther was led by the questionable Kirschners to the Prussians, outside the realm? Prussia was always a fief of the Kingdom of Poland, where it is again today (without a King, but that is another story)

Except that it was the GERMAN-Prussian war... Prussia was an invasive eastern revolutionary power outside the German realm.

@ziegle9876
1) Prussia WAS in the HRE. The Kingdom of Prussia was the successor of the Electorate of Brandenburg,which was an HRE Electorate.
2) The Deutscher Bund was not a real state of any sort.No one took it seriously. The dualist rivalry of Prussia and Austria made it irrelevant.
3) Prussia did not ally itself with France! Between 1850-1871, France and Austria vs Prussia was undoubtedly the biggest rivalry in all of Europe!
Face it, Germany exists today only because of Bismarch + PRussia.
