If you dont want to re-render you can try using RE:Vision Effects ReelSmart Motion Blur or even after effect's CC force blur. (those two use pixel motion to calculate motion blur.)

why you needed to use tracking technique ? what did you track ?

@thejimmydee tracking technique is must need before inserting the terminator into the scene. so the terminator moves with the camera movement. I used corners, dark edges to track, but it was very difficult. IN hollywood, AVATAR's technology made tracking super super easy. almost perfect.

I learned some stuff and then I wanted do put a Terminator in my scene... but working with vray I don't know how to put nice soft shadows into it...without the terminator starting to look with 50% opacity :S Do you know any tutorial on shadows with vray and stuff like that? First I render the terminator with the right camera move on top of the footage, then I composite them together.

@Kainthemain sorry, I dont have enough equipment and time for making tutorial. but I will tell you how I did it.

I spend 2-3 month drawing storyboard. i didnt have enough money or equipment, so here it is. I shot it with HF200 and the rest of it was CG work, The most annoying thing was the tracking and rotoscoping. The animation was pretty easy for me.

@VlikeVince777 model was purchased from turbosquid for $50. I animated the terminator. took me awhile to make everything look right. There are alot of things that I wanted to do, but didn't. because my camera lens sucks, location sucks, lighting sucked,... so I did work with what I got.

eey man looks good! Try to improve your intergration in live action next time. Add some motion blur in your render outputt that will blend it more in your film! and some animation parts looked good. but when he get shot his reaction is maby a litlle unrealistic . Dude, I've been looking out for the final version of this for months (sorry I couldn't come sooner; I've been busy with school), and while I will say that it can be expanded in a number of ways (sound, visual detail of the terminator, frame rate, production time, etc), IT IS FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!
