Driving Through Towanda, PA

I have a friend who lives outside of Towanda, the city itself isn't great, but the surrounding wilderness(where my friend lives) is beautiful!!

Thanks for the video. My mother grew up in Towanda. My sisters and I spent summers with my grandmother on Kingsbury Avenue. Best times of my life. I love Towanda and I have only been back 1 time since my grandmother died. When I went back it was in 1989, and I was so disappointed to see that the town had cut down all the trees. I think of Towanda often and have such great memories of the town and the people. Hi to anyone that remembers my grandmother Mamie Smith and her granddaughters from CT.

my dad just left this morning headed up there to work in the oilfield his truck is a bright red peterbilt that has Poage Services out of Vici, Oklahoma tell me iff you see it you cant miss it with the 50 foot trailer. were thanking of moving up there to and i was wondering how much snow it got cause i love snow

Thank you for posting your video. I lived and grew up there. While I might have thought it was a boring town growing up, I do miss it. Watching your video sure brought back a lot of memories!! That was like a trip down memory lane. Thank you! Grew up near nearby Wyalusing. Towanda Motel was where we stayed often while Dad built our house in early 70's. Field trips to the court house. Got my first drivers license at the DOT building. My daughter was born at Towanda memorial hospital and my Mom died there . Thats my favorite Duncan Donuts....although I live near Seattle now. I miss that area. Life was good.
