i have always liked Melissa Anderson better in truth(Mary). still like Melissa Gilbert though. the two of them have gone very far in acting. after little house they created a permanent image of themselves and everyone always thinks of them as young Laura or Mary. i wonder if they like get together every once in awhile nowadays

My respect goes to Michael Landon and all involved in a programme that is a lesson to us all in 21st century England and the USA.

How many of us had dads as caring and as wise as the dad Michael Landon portrayed in the series taken from real stories.

This series is a lesson in community and how it works, because everybody in the series is in the same social and economic boat, so they all rely on each other.

I know she is adopted. I know her adopted father was pretty old and died when she was only about 10. I also know her biological mom died many years ago. Melissa's adopted mother gave birth to Sara Gilbert (I think that husband was Asian). What happened to him? Does anyone know?
