@glendower99 take the top off, fill the bottom half past the tops of bottom hemispheres. push the top down onto it and the water should be high enough that some leaks out the vent holes about each ball. tilt it over to drain the extra water off teh top and put the whole thing in your freezer. Use distilled water and they will be crystal clear when you use them. They really are cool.
Sounds like you may be putting in a bit too much effort. You open it and fill it to the rim, and then carefully close it so that too much water doesn't fly out leaving you with less than a sphere. Some will of course come out. Also, I found that the perfect instrument to get the balls out (instead of, say, soaking in cold water as they direct, to loosen it up) is a very small screwdriver, like you can buy at Radio...I mean, the Shack. Just poke it into the hole and push.
I got mine today even though I am on the other side of the world (australia), nice ppl. I found it easier to submerge the mold in water to fill it up until it stops bubbling because it hard to fill water up to the top half through the small hole. Is that what you do also??
@krssnoop It says on the card to fill up only the bottom half. I don't think you need to fill it up completely, as water expands when it freezes, I duno though? I havent' used em yet.

@krssnoop you're doing it wrong ;) fill the bottom half higher, and then press the top on and it will automatically fill the top half.
