  • When Oni Is away from the drink, not complaining about the sound levels, and committed to the band, he's fantastic - the voice of the Lynch Mob.

Rob is a true professional who simply lacks the ability to miss a note, but it was the writing chemistry that made the George / Oni relationship great.

  • Gotta love GEORGE LYNCH!!! WOW!!!!

  • well, once you have heard both live... there is no comparison. Frankly Rob is total pro. His voice is on all the time. Whereas Oni, was terribly hit and miss. And even when he is on live, its mediocre.

  • they were far better with Robert Mason singing

  • @JEDDAKOFPHX I think they're both about on par with one another, although Oni is much more bluesy and soulful IMHO. I also feel that there would have been no Robert without Oni being there first, as they both sound incredibly similar, and Robert was likely picked because of that similarity.

  • Lynch Mob Blows Dokken away!!!

  • yea man i like this music!

  • Mr.Dokken, please lighten up, we fans what to see,Mr Lynch kick some ass with the original DOKKEN!!!!

  • As a fan & guitarist....the " Wicked Sensation " album/CD is definitely George at his absolute best.....He pulled out ALL the strings, guns, hallucinagins and guts for that recording.... Its definitely a "must have" for any up n comer guitarist.

  • DOKKEN blew LYNCH MOB away, if you ask me, which you didn't....

  • I dont agree. I Love George Lynch music and Im a big fan but I dont think Nirvana is shit, they're good

  • @dxvolt Every era in music is meant to come to an end. I love music, old and new, and refuse to close my mind to different styles. As a great symphony conductor once said, there's only two types of music: good and boring. Also, "just because you don't like it don't mean it ain't no good..."

  • How gay does Esposito look with the blow dryer on his hair? I love George & Dokken but song wise Dokkens album was better or more commercial than Georges at this time. They farked a good thing after Back for the Attack.

  • @wasp4eva1: Esposito sweats like a motherfucker onstage, is why.

  • should'a had videos for this song and rain!

  • this was one of my least favorite lynch mob songs, I always go back to dance of the dogs or cold is the heart, but after seeing a live show of this video and hearing them harmonize the vocals on chorus, I all of a sudden love this song now.

  • @b0mbos Love this tune and I am glad you do too, now!!

  • I agree with you guys. Very cool shit.

  • Unfortunately this is where a lot of the "sampled" vocals in live performances came from. A LOT of the late 80s/early 90s bands were using them. Given Oni's performance here it kind of makes sense that they would start using them for the lead vocals as well. He rocked on the album though.

  • @clesterrific Um? Sampled vocals? The Bass Player and Mic both sing, well....

  • They could have been the hottest band on earth, but what can i say? the 90s were an aweful time for music with all that grunge shit ...

At least they´re still around kicking some serious ass and almost every grunge band is dead ,buried and forgotten :)

  • Hi Lynch Mob Fans! Have you heard new Dokken? I believe he misses George a lot, his new guitar player makes a big effort to sound and play like George.

  • no way dude seriously? don wants lynch back?

  • Love it!! **********

  • these guys could have been one of the biggest bands but I think the timing was just bad, they were competing with all that Nirvana and grunge shit back then. I agree the new album kicks ass and Lynch is still in the top 5 greatest guitarest of all time but just my opinion.

  • @lubbocktx35 I couldn't agree more!

  • @lubbocktx35

FUCK Nirvana. As a musician (though not nearly the caliber of such greats as Lynch Mob), I cannot fathom how shit like Nirvana was ever popular. A week's worth of experience playing an instrument is sufficient to play any Nirvana song. Lynch Mob, on the other hand . . . did you hear that solo?!!?! WOW!

  • the new lynch mob cd is some of there best shit ever, its fucking amazing

  • Not nearly as good as Wicked Sensation...but it's damn good!

  • Still one of the best better then this guy called Gus G by far

  • BEST MOB TUNE MADE

  • I disagree. :) I love when darkness calls. Check it out if your into Lynch.

  • when darkness calls one of the greatest songs ever

  • So sweaty and sexy. Every time I hear this, I imagine some office in a hot Tennessee/Texas town. The fans on, beads of sweat on people's faces. And a hot blonde, just itching to get it on.

  • LYNCH RULEZ!!!!

  • Amen Brother!.....I'm tired of these vids this one is over rated or this one is under rated vids and not seeing Geo on any of them!.....George has a wicked style hard to mimic and the phrasing smokes!I'm sure he could tap all day like Eddie or arppegiate all day like Yngwie, but he strives for difference!I second your "LYNCH RULEZ"!

  • Thing is, Lynch does tap heavy in some songs, and I've heard and seen him arpeggiate in vids, but he maintains his own style that doesn't sound like anyone else. That is what I've always strived for in my own style. It's not hard to sound like someone else. Just copy what they do. Youtube is full of "me too" arpeggiators. Lynch isn't one of them.

  • True!..I know Geo taps often too,but I felt at some point Ed got tap and whammy bar happy and trust I'm not kicking Ed,he's my second favorite!Malmsteen is like 5 or 6 and he's so fast and a clean picker, but sometimes I listen to his music anymore and about 5 songs later,I'm like ok enough arppegio playing or listening to do me for a fews days!....I have to have a daily fix of Lynch though!

  • I dunno. I always loved ed's style. I can listen to or watch a few Malmsteen videos. He's definitely more interesting than any of the "me too" type arpeggiators. Lynch has a style all his own. He was one of my early influences right next to Tony Iommi, and Randy Rhoads. Those kind of guys I can listen to for hours because it isn't a bunch of endless arpeggiating. There was something more going on. Actual songs with lyrics, a chorus and a PLACE for a solo. Not the entire song as a solo. You know?

  • He doesn't seem to hit it live, as he did in the studio. I would still love to see them with Oni. I saw them 2 years ago with a short hair blonde dude, and he hit every note, old and new. Great show! George shredded, as usual.

  • Oni Logan is a prick from Ft. Liquerdale, FL... Saw him back in 2002 with the M0b and he acted like a total bitch ass punk... George gave him looks all night for his shit... I was waiting for the bitch slap...

  • GL RULES!

  • Oni Logan...amazing, and an argentine like me! ;-)

  • Oni is awesome! Such a hottie.. he was Lynch Mob

  • este es mi primo oni de ee . uu en este año capas q haga una jira por arjentina espero q les guste

  • on the album he was singing great!!! but something is wrong in this video.

  • did you hear hes back in the band!!!!!

  • yes it looks like there is a shift between video and sound so it sounds diffrent that it looks...

  • Dudes, what concert dvd is this from?

  • @IamGuitars it's from a now defunct tv show called "ABC Rocks".

  • I think the live vocal part ain't half as strong as the disc...oni seems outta breath

  • True. I have read that is because of the drugs, and is the reason Lynch fired him later

  • This is so cool, I love this tune. Wow the backups sound strong as the disc. Gotta tell ya, I've seen George do better with this. The guy can be magical. "That's all I want ya know thats all I need". Can't listen to this w/o belting the chorus. Thanx!!!

  • That's because the backing vocals are recorded.

  • yeah i gotta hard time believing backup vocals a lip synched. i saw lynch mob live and it sounded this good. you're gonna have to produce some proof on this one Mary.

  • I sat in on their soundcheck years ago. They didnt even fake it during sound check. Don't get me wrong, I love Lynch Mob!! Always have. But sometimes, I guess you need a little help with the background vocals. It's all good though, they still kicked ass!! Lip-sync ro not.

  • George´guitar isn´t an ESP here? It seems a PRS

  • yea its a PRS, i like this solo better thaqn the record even

  • I'm a huge George Lynch fan and this is the first time I've seen him play anything other than an Arias in the early days, and ESP later.

  • maybe you've already seen it, there's a vid on here of lynch playing "in my dreams" on a strat back in '87. really surprising (sounds good, too).

  • He was playing ESPs in the eighties with Dokken. All his signature guitars from the eighties were esp. He played Aria before that. This clip is post Dokken

  • On the back cover of 1984's Tooth and Nail he is posing with a black Aria Pro II

  • You could wrap some guitar strings around a fuckin pizza and George would still put out some killer riffs.LOL! Simply The Best.

  • HAHAHA 2 thumbs up!

  • I know, it's weird. I've seen him play a Gibson Les Paul and a couple of Kramers. It reminds me of seeing Bret Favre in a Jets uniform. I'm not a Bret fan but you know what I mean.

  • Yeah that's a big 10-4,his favorite axe when he was young was a Les Paul, which was stolen ,I believe it was after that he began experimenting with other guitars.Regard Brett Favre, did you know he played for the Falcons his rookie year?

  • Every time George writes some music, Oni comes back with some AWESOME lyrics!

That writting team is something out of this planet, I know george is!!!

  • This band i wish came earlier. I loved Dokken But this band with beats the living fuck out of them!

  • @Branch83Hawks Agreed. "Wicked Sensation" easily ranks up there with "Tooth and Nail" from Dokken. I found it refreshing that George took this project in a different direction, when Don just tried to rehash the Dokken sound on his solo album.

  • cool!!!!!

  • One of the best rock albums EVER! Period.

  • SO FUCKING TRUE! Period.

  • This aired on "ABC's In Concert" TV series in 1991. Oni and George are back together now, with Marco Mendoza on bass and Scott Coogan on drums. Should be a great album!

  • rfkurt, i agree

  • George never went down hill how do you top this album

  • great song....what did this air on?

  • These guys were a great unit. Unfortunately for us, it was down hill after this.

  • The bass player got most pussy for sure in this band, hahaha!!! The hair blowin` from that fan... Chicks dig that shit!!! Great band...

  • It's like Zakk wylde in No more tears video

he and his blond hair in front of the van

looked powerful! and girls like that.

  • Damn! I must grow some hair!!!

  • it's fan, no van lol

  • yeah

  • G Lynch is incredible!!!!!!

  • The solo of this song is extremely difficult, at least in the studio version.

  • GL with a PRS yuck

  • thank you so much, i love this video!!

  • Catch them and 99 other bands this July at Rocklahoma...

  • OMG, two months and I am SO there!

  • hope they sound this good on tour with WARRANT

  • sick sick sick

  • Great song! Great live performance. Great guitar!
