Hail! Bone marrow and petite toast: it's the best meal on the planet!
My favorite meal is roasted bone marrow with a roux packed over the top (that gets slightly crispy) and petite toast with a serving of lamb tartar (or what's known in Armenian circles as kibbeh) mixed with shallots and raw egg...it's the ying and yang of glorious consumption. All respect to the beautiful animals and butchers. This is such a glorious meal. I could eat it for dessert!
@Ryguy5150 I realize you'd posted this quite some time ago, funny to be responding at this late time. I loved Prune's marrow, (and I adore Prune) but I find Blue Ribbon's bones a bit more jazzy as far as flavors, which I don't mind at all. Both are exquisite, no?
how does bone marrow taste?

@s18331833 not like much. It's basically very soft fat. Think whipped cream texture, and the little fatty bits of a steak.
