  • RIP Tony. Stabilis

  • Mixed feelings here, firstly why do we blame the pilots, it's all to do with their lack of communication that gets our men killed. However despite us having a fair amount of support and excellent communication skills with our pilots we simply do not have enough of them so we should all be grateful for one another, we are brothers and accidents do happen. However carelessness

  • Miscommunication kills my friends.

  • @Disaveli I know, didn't want to say it. I was trying to tell the guy the FF happens in wars. but he was just trolling

  • @Disaveli no it's not. I brought it up because there seems to be a few brits thinking the USA Friendly fires all the damn time. Pointing out that it was the British that started using the word Friendly fire back in the 1700's a example would be at Waterloo where they open fired on the Prussians mistaking them for French.

  • trust a yank to shoot at friendly's

  • I love the way they call it "Friendly Fire"......Can't get more "Unfriendly" :o)

  • theres an old ww2 joke saying if the british fired, the german ducked. when the german fired, the british ducked. but when the americans fired everyone effin ducked!

  • It's a nice depleted uranium shower they took! An Afghanistan War Syndrome in the making!!

  • Man, too close for comfort. I really hope you guys all made it back to your families safely.

  • the plane is so far away it takes a while for the sound of the weapon to reach the soldiers

  • so what sound comes first again, the bullets exploding then gun firing itself? or is there like a sonicboom first

  • @sawyerbobby When the explosions happen first - then you hear the sound of the rounds being fired (that roaring zipper-like sound) it means you're downrange in the target area. This is why you never hear the one that hits you. The A-10 had a really bad line of fire. He should have came over their location and fired in the other direction.

  • The pilot was probably just messing you the brits. lol There are accurate.

  • @PhippyPoo

I bet these boys didnt see the funny side he he

  • @PhippyPoo if they're as accurate as your grammar we're all in big trouble :s

  • @bloodforfeathers My apologies to the English teacher....... Fag.

  • @PhippyPoo no worries, just remember whose language you're speaking next time ... hahaha

  • Fook me that was close!!

  • Known and knew*

  • Well at least we know what it's like to be on the other side. :P

  • This is why communication is vital.

  • I agree that having US pilots in there air is more benificial, but so many coalition soldiers have been killed by US forces. It cant just be bad luck and circumstance, in my view Americans are a bit too "gun ho". I read somewhere that they are training US soldiers to recognise the Union Flag (British Flag).

  • @Driscoll890 The fact that 95% of air-cover was provided by USAF, chances are there's going to be a blue on blue rate from that. The US pilots always relied on Intel and British FAC for help. And Brits often killed 16 of their own forces, 2 danish, and 3 afghans, most of them ground to ground. US ground troops are hardly trigger happy because we're so good not hitting our allies a lot even our own. We're talking different types of incidents here. Even Iraq/Afghan has the lowest FF in history

  • the subject of this vid is wrong., watcht he whole vid please ppl the Brits are calling in Air Support and American pilot just brought it in a tad close but nobody was hurt,

  • What the hell was it shooting at? I mean even if it thought they were Taliban it still missed. Or it knew about the brits and just fuckn slipped on the trigger.

  • yeah and without British and other Allied Help where would The US be in this?? on they fucking own with their poorly trained soldiers, This is what yanks do kill Friendlies You have more chnce of getting killed by an American in Afghanistan than by the Taliban!

  • @Fuckthemutherfuckers . true history fact. British have killed more allies then anyone else in the last 200 years.

  • @Dogmeat1950 PFT!

  • @Dogmeat1950

No disrespect love American's,But my father was in the 8th Army ,a Desert Rat during the 2nd World war and even he jokes about USAF pilots lack of fire Discipline, this is nothing new lol

  • @funkyfenman um..there was no USAF during ww2

  • @Dogmeat1950

    ok American pilots ,smart arse

  • LOL, yes there was!

  • @blueb0g um no dummy there was no USAF in WW2

    USAF was created in 1948.

  • The USAF became a seperate entity in 1947 but it existed before as a part of the army.

  • @blueb0g that was the USAAC was the U.S Army. whole different animal.

  • @blueb0g im not too sure on that one where did you get your info from im not starting a fight i would just like to know cheers

  • @funkyfenman they jsuted to make sure all the nazi's and what not are all dead. :)

  • although this air assault missed the Brits there have been many, too many incidents where the U.S. air-force has mistakenly targeted and killed British ground troops and convoys. Does any one know the exact figure of British troops killed by American air-power since 9/11. I would be interested to know the figures.??

  • Something in the region of 20-50 with many more injured. USAF Pilots think they're playing CoD

  • elitepoosniff, that blue on blue in the first gulf war was two warrior apc,s full of troops from the scottish division, not only did they have nato markings they also had a nato transponder to prevent this happening in the vehicles, and the cunts still shot and killed them!! trigger happy badly trained rednecks that have watch too many war movies!! take alook at there you tube videos, glorifying war and killing, to them its just a computer game!!!!

  • The warrior armoured vehicles were infact from the 3rd Bn The Royal Fusiliers battle group . The two warriors were C Coy vehicles and 9 soldiers were killed 6 from the fusiliers and 3 from the Queens own highlanders. They never had transponders then although the vehilces were marked with orange panels. The incident took place on the re org after taking the objective. How do I know as one of teh guys there is standing next to me as I write this!

  • US fucking need to teach there armed forces how to do a simple job if your trained well to do Right ! you would never Ever see British Armed forces having blue on blue`s maby once ever cuple of years maby america just way to Much !

  • dropping bombs isn't a simple job. if you had 60,000 troops in afghanistan and 100,000 in iraq, you'd probably have a few blue on blues also. instead you have 9,500 total.

  • tere was a blue on blue in iraq with two A 10`s , they shot at two British trucks that where marked the the NATO orange marker that tells air units that its friendly even from the cockpit video you can see them and they still fired at them and killed some of Our Troops im slowly tearning anti American

  • @merks91

Yeah except... we don't actually kill americans in afghanistan, your pilots do the business most of the time, but most blue on blue incidents would be avoided with simple communication

  • either very lucky or very good CAS

  • fuck they are lucky not many people get shot at by an a-10 and live im just glad they survived

  • whats the sound after the impact.like a weird animal kinda sound! lol

  • it was the sound of the gun fireing

  • but we have the raf and the harrier strike force to help out the ground troops,

us airforce are just all in shoot and take out bunkers and afgan ,taliban hideouts to flush them out, us dont support much but themselfs thease days lol, mabey get the few that do but its rare it wud be to help some one out lol

  • Mmmm a fine mist of reactor fuel waste used to make the damn bullets. Bet those poor bastards will get cancer like many others.

  • Yanks are fucking idiots. No wonder everyone has deserted them. They're moronic cunts.

  • you know nothing you worthless prick

without american air support in afghanistan bristish fatalities would be ALOT higher

next time you go to say something fucking stupid like that again mate, do me a favour, and jump of a fucking cliff first

  • acsidents happen these guys are under stress to find identify and fight its not as easy as you think at 5000 feet

  • the guy has a point u know with out dem more troops will be dying

  • @ricksimmonds I'm not sure who you're referring to, but... there are alot of people in the states that get up on their boxes and start shouting out how great the US are, and how much the UK has benefited from the US. I agree with both sides here, I think that the US are responsible for more friendly fire incidents than all other nations linked, though if you ask any british squaddie (except for the blue on blue dead ones of course), they will all say they are glad to have you up in the skies.

  • @jessie11982

I think youve hit it on the nail mate,if you watch Ross Kemp in Aghanistan ,even after the notorious friendly fire incident of 2007 where 3 members of the Royal Anglian Regt was killed by US Friendly Fire, the troops interviewed where very proffesional and blamed no one- US Pilots have saved more lives than they have taken

  • @ricksimmonds My canadian and british boys wouldnt have been in afganistan if it wasnt for your redneck bush mate,I know 4 soldiers and their families who were killed by the so "Called" Taliban you americans created,Lol you guys are doing what happened with the Cossacks,Cept you need to pay alot of nations to back your pretty american asses up,Lol

  • @ricksimmonds Royal Marine here pal........without BRITISH ....air support we'd be losing a lot more..not just American..yours in speaking..a Royal Marine who's been opened up on by US forces twice now.

  • @LCStreetPhotographer then get your own air-support and quit asking us to do it.

  • @Hperman09 Believe me given the choice i would but i dont make the rules or ROE's while on ops. Given teh choice i'd have preferred the RAF, FAA of Britain or the Dutch Air Force by miles. Trustowrthy accurate CAS by a country mile.

  • Comment removed

  • @LCStreetPhotographer well ok then if you want then write to your queen to stop relying our air-support.

  • @Hperman09 A country that thinks Britain is ruled and governed by the queen shouldn't be allowed weapons. You're dangerously retarded.

  • @ricksimmonds 3 royal anglians died from a 500lb US fighter bomb :( RIP
