But when you try to mess around with crashes, splashes, or other toms, you lose your beat and snare is ahead of the bass drum. During second listening I think it's always ahead. Just a little bit, but still ahead. I don't have time or patience to read all the comments, so I don't know whether it's already fixed, but as for the time you've been working on this track - you should keep working. Still: remember - impressive! Especially recovering Svenssons sound! :)
@sinsofwelkin Ok, so now I've watched some of your videos. To be precise, I've been listening to "Dream Theater - A Nightmare To Remember" which i know quite good. So, to be honest, I have to withdraw my objections, because they're out of date. You were much better player one year ago, than two years ago, still, some mistakes did occur, though ;) Not everybody is Portnoy ;) But seriously - grreat job, impressive, better than 99% of "amateur" drummers do. Keep up!
ROCK ON! This is impressive, BUT! I need to point out some things. I'm no drummer, I barely can play AC/DC on drums, so I'm no comparison. Although, I play guitar for quite a while, also with some bads, and as long as this quality of playing is accepteble on gigs, you should work hard on one thing:
As long as you play a beat (snare+crash+bass drum or snare+ride+ bass drum), you do very well. To be continued :)
Awesome job!!!!!! I'm 16 and this kid is better than me. DAMN, he's got alot of gear: a full pro set of drums and cymbals, 2 great cameras, and all the mics he needs. Holy shit.
May I ask which bass drum head you're using in this video? it sounds very good.
Actually, the drums are just Tama Superstar, it's nothing special, semi-pro I would call it. :) Cymbals are pretty random, couple very good cymbals, Sabian. ONE camera, not very good, very bad quality and colors, but I think next year I will get some Canon HD-camera. :p
But thanks!
Bassdrum head is Aquarian super kick 2, very tight tuning and lots of high frequences from mixer and computer.
I understand why you've got so much going on; you've played drums for at least 6 years. Me, I've only played roughly 1 and a half years. Right now I've got Sonor 3005's with sabian B8's and Paiste Alphas, I would consider it "semi-pro" as well. How did you use one camera for this? Did you have to record yourself twice? :P
I've got that head too, It's really nice, but right now I'm trying the Remo Powerstroke 3 I got for xmas. I'm used to fairly low-tuned drums,.
Yes, recorded at twive. : D One audio, that's same as se the second cam which shows first time in this video at 0:09, and just another video which's audio is muted. :p I used Vegas 8.0 Multicam program for two cameras.

@sinsofwelkin Omg, how lame. Fourth comment on the same video. But when I said "Your snare is ahead of drums", I meant "late". Nvm. Still great.
