While he's a well spoken guy, some of the things he says simply aren't true. A lot of people go into the military because A) they couldn't hack college, B) they couldn't afford college, or C) as a last resort cuz they were a screw up. Then a few years later they come out expecting high-paying jobs to be thrown at them. That's not how it works. It's much harder to get a master's degree in computer science than it is to serve in the military for a few years.

EVERY SINGLE TIME I hear Brian Stann in an interview or when hes competing, I admire him more and more. True role model for EVERYBODY! My Idol personally.

this video describes american soldiers as men of honor and integrity. i've seen alot of videos and pics that proves otherwise.I've seen pics of american soldiers killing civilians and making fun of there remains.
one thing in this video that i agree with is the fact that american soldiers only care about "the guy next to you" which i think is the mindset that drove some of these soldiers to become cold-blooded killers.

While he's a well spoken guy, some of the things he says simply aren't true. A lot of people go into the military because A) they couldn't hack college, B) they couldn't afford college, or C) as a last resort cuz they were a screw up. Then a few years later they come out expecting high-paying jobs to be thrown at them. That's not how it works. It's much harder to get a master's degree in computer science than it is to serve in the military for a few years.

Yea anyone can nuke us, but here's the thing, every nation knows we have these huge ballistic subs (SSBNs) that have nukes and we have enough of them scattered around to nuke any part of the planet. The only ones who know their exact locations are the President and Secretary of defense. Everyone else don't know where they are, but they know that they're out there somewhere.

I like Brian Stann, seems like a nice guy and very respectful. But I can tell, and he makes it quite obvious that he has a very black and white outlook on the world. I personally don't like those kind of people. He comes across very cool in his interviews, but I can tell that after a couple hours of hanging out with him, I'd want to kill the guy.

I have not served in the military, but I would happily employ veterans if I had my own business.
Brian is right. People need to be educated. I think people are afraid of "rigid" personalities and possible psychological issues. I do wish the military would pay more attention to potential psychological problems, but at least they've made some progress. What Brian is doing for veterans is commendable. Such an awesome guy.

I don't think media should emphasize or fake animosity between fighters. But I'll admit that, if it's genuine, it is noteworthy. However, it's just as noteworthy to me when fighters have a lot of respect for each other and live by some sort of ethos. What we don't want are fighters who aren't invested in their fight one way or another and give a poor spectacle.
