This quest is entirely soloable with the narga hammer if you have sharpness +1 (and having both doesn't require g-rank access)

@1234567890nam Not really, as long as you prepare well for every quest you should be fine. The only difference with guild quests is that monsters have more hp and deal more damage. You need to plan out your attack before hand and also take in mind that since they have more health, guild quests will usually take you about 20-40 minutes to solo depending on the monster you're hunting. Also don't worry if you die during the quest because all rewards and carves will be the same.

@TheRedemblem ya ur definitely right. wind resistance does help alot on this quest, but black blos armor is much harder to get at hr 4 then rathalous soul. thats why I choose to do the video with this armor.

i got the onslaught hammer, azure rathalos full armor(with attack up large) i cant kill him he destroys the fortress first and i got like 2 min remaining

@jsbaza do u hav powertalon and powercharm??? cuz does give u another 200 attack boost. also if it kills u tht will also hurt ur chances of killing it before the quest ends. make sure u hav ur cats cook u a meal with kirin cheese and goldenfish brew. it increases ur health and stamina to the max

@pacpacman619 Your armor is good but for that quest it is best to try and get as big of an attack boost as possible so if you can get a rathalos armor or some other armor with attack up lrg. and as for weapons probably anvil hammer if you can get it or executioner+, blue claw blade, spartacus blade, or tactical blade if u can get that one too.

Ash is like 23,333hp and Azure is like 29,999hp. Don't quote me though cause I haven't played this game in like 6 months.

i actually have silver rathalos armor but the point of the video is to show people how to complete this quest with equipment that can be easily accessible to them before reaching HR5. If i use armor that can't be obtained until after beating this quest then it really wouldn't help the people that are trying to beat it for the first time.

if you keep getting disrupted by the wind when his tree trunk move you can consider black diablos armour(got mine at village quest * lv 5) i kill it everytime and i hardly get hit by the tail as it is the wind that always kill me before i get the armour

u can only get union ore from hr 5. so ur gonna have to beat this quest first. and as for the armor i upgraded it with jewels. u can do tht by going to the weapon/armor guy in the village and in the armor section u can select decorations. There u need to make the jewels that give u the attack up and earplug skills. All of the jewels tell u wat u need to make them and what skills they give u.

Np. Repel means that you did enough damage to the monster that when the time expires it just leaves and you still clear the quest. It's kinda like elder dragons, but the difference is that the damage u do to it wont pass to the next time u do the quest.

well depending on ur long sword u wont be able to complete this quest. ur best bet would be to get red dragonsword which is available to u. I pretty sure u can also repel lao with fire dragonsword. If u r not able to get those then u should get anvil hammer, and use full rathalos soul armor with powercharms. The point is to get as high an attack power as possible, and avoid using any cannons or antidragons, just continuously attack lao's belly for the 35 minutes and u should be able to beat it.

in order to get the azure rathalos helmet u need an azure rathalos wing. ur best chance at getting tht would be to do a azure rathalos capture quest and break both its wings before capturing it.

Yea u can most likely beat it with that armor too, but if u r going to use it then ur gonna need powercharms and or talons plus have ur cats make u something with attack up. It will probably only take u a minute or so longer.

Cant really help u out on that one that much because i'm not very familiar with bowguns. What i can say is that if u don't have a heavy bowgun of over 300 attack power ur gonna need someone else to go with u and the recommended ammo would be clust lv 2 and crag lv 2. Just keep shoting its back. I really don't recommend this strategy though, but if it does work for u let me know.

I wasnt able to beat it before i had the Onslaught Hammer i was only able to repel it. Your best best it to repel it with Anvil Hammer with the same armor in the video and bring powertalon and armortalon. It is extremely easy to repel lao just stick to attacking the belly the whole 35 minutes. and as for steaks u dont need, because u r given 8 rations in the item box.

Yeah just avoid using Anti-dragon bombs and dragonator. Apply a constant attack to its belly and you should be able to kill it with at least 3 minutes left.

I think your best bet would be with fire dragonsword. Also, u should get another armor set. Because the skills that tigrex armor has aren't gonna help u at all in this quest. U should use your true devil slicer and get full rathalos soul. After you have the full set try to max it out with armor spheres. Then buy power and armorcharms if u dont already have and if u can make the talons for each that would be even better. When u have all of tht beating this quest will be cake with fire dragonsword

At Hr 4 it is not possible to get Union Ore. You can unlock mining point 3 once you beat this quest, and also in Hr 5 there is a gathering quest in the volcano from which u can get loads of union ore. Let me know what kind of weapons u have that way ill assist u with beating this quest.
