  • Oh Bob, my God, this was so hard to watch. I couldn't get through it without crying with you. I was floxed in 2005 from Levaquin, and your screaming in pain reminded me of a time when I was home alone, a few weeks after stopping Levaquin, and had a Charley Horse in the center bottom of my foot that didn't let up for 30 minutes or more. I never screamed so hard and cried so much from pain in all my life, and I so clearly remember those long hard months of battling suicidal thoughts.

  • Hi Bob, I hope things have calmed down for you? Are you getting any relief?

  • whoa!!!

When the toxic reaction happened to me, I honestly thought I was having a stroke, worst pain ever!! Like ever. I have had screwed up vision and full-body pins & needles ever since. I was in too much pain to scream, though...

Fully scary stuff, these drugs were invented by IG Farben during world war 2, and they've always proven far too toxic for use, and have been out of favour & research use only.

    Until 2001, that is.

  • WHy dont these mother fucksers put and end to this shitty Drug.. why can't doctors prescribe some alternative.. THIS DRUG SHOULD BE BANNED>

The WHO is really doing nothing.

  • take spirulina powder/capsules...that alone contains the nutrients required for your body to recover..take 3 g daily..will see a noticeable effect in a week....worked for me

  • @forestconsulting I take spirulina, certainly hasn't healed me!

  • I started taking spirulina about two months ago.

It didnt help me initially as i was swallowing the capsules....then about a week ago i started putting the spirulina powder from the capsules on my tongue...letting my tongue absorb it into my bloodstream before it reached my stomach acids...that made the difference....stomach acids probably destroy the properties of spirulina before it reaches the bloodstream......this algae has the most nutrients ever among any cell/ molecule on mother earth

  • I took Cipro for UTI and had to stop the medication due to tendon and muscle pain that I didn't initially associate with the medication. Medications can be life-saving, but this class of drugs is obviously very dangerous for some people. My heart goes out to all who are struggling with the after effects from this medication.

  • Bob. Thank you so much for what you have done regarding being active in bringing attention to this grave issue. My mother has been rendered severely ill because of these demonic Quinolone antibiotics. She received very useful information from your website and, God Willing, she will soon be on her way to recovery. Thank you.

  • Hey, you having problems getting it up??? Here, try some of these samples that were broought to our office by the pharmacutical companys. Have aches and pains, try this free sample that was given to our office. That is how the doctor work today. They don't even think about side effects. What happened to the days when our doctor cared???

  • Fuck... that almost made me cry.

  • Bob, I know exactly what you're going through. I was given Avelox for a sinus infection and almost lost my mind! It took me close to 2 years to get stable again, and over 3 before I felt normal again! My symptoms were extreme anxiety/panic attacks, insomnia (2-3 hrs./daily max....for 2 years!) , numbness, strange neurological sensations, twitching muscles, difficulty swallowing....I didn't work for about 1 year. It was devistating! Please hang in there! I know you will get better!

  • The following comment was posted by Jason Pursley, sales rep for Schering-Plough, the maker of Cipro. Jason posted the comment February 7, 2009, saw my response, then removed it February 11, 2009. Make sure you read my original comments below for important facts regarding the dangers of Cipro.

  • "It is too bad Bob had this reaction. The fact is Cipro is a powerful antibiotic. He says there was no warnings, but if he looked in the package insert it states that quinolones can cause a number of CNS side effects. Cipro has been out since 1992 and has been treated in over 500 million patients. It is now Generic and some pharmacies give it away for free to patients with urinary tract infections and other infections. By 2003 Cipro had been out for over 10 years and proven safe!"

  • Jason! You removed your comment, are you ashamed of what you wrote? (Fortunately, I saved your comment and entire web page as a PDF.) Next time you try to sell Cipro to a doctor, why don't you present the known facts so you do not endanger innocent peoples' lives? Jason, the fact you removed your comment shows you have no integrity and are a coward.

  • Jason Pursley! You're a sales rep for Schering-Plough, the maker of Cipro. I found you on LinkedIn, you're busted! I am glad you left this comment to demonstrate the lack of integrity of you and your company. (continued below)

  • The warnings on Cipro for peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage) came out in 2004, due to an open letter to congress from Dr. Jay Cohen, resident physician at the University of California, San Diego. People like myself and Bob Grozier, who took Cipro between 1992 to 2003 had no warning, you're a liar. (continued below)

  • Cipro has been out for over 10 years, and has been proven UNSAFE. Recently, Public Citizen sued your company to put a black box warning on Cipro for tendon ruptures. If Schering-Plough cares so much about the people taking their medications, why do they have to lose a lawsuit before putting a warning on the box? Your comment is so lame and inaccurate you should have professional embarrassment. Jason, you are a pharmaceutical sales rep low-life, perhaps you should go back to selling used cars.

  • Oh yea, I see you posted this comment on a Saturday night, you're a loser too.

  • Yes and what an insane world we live in. Next thing we will get free cancer drugs at food store.
