This show was fucking horrible. I'm surprised it actually made it on air. Even the host acted like he didn't know what the hell was going on sometimes lol.
what part of philly was this show filmed at the statidums like the spectrum or the first union center or was it filmed in like a part of a school building that wasn't being used write me back
@p86885 Actually it was filmed at WHYY-TV, the PBS affiliate in Philadelphia, home to many popular Nickelodeon shows such as Double Dare and Finders Keepers. This was before all shows were "recorded in front of a live studio audience at Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Studios Florida".
I was a locker room and I use this term loosely - character actress. The best part was the makeup. I remember playing a flapper, a tiger and a waitress. I still have funny memories of the show. The director was not so happy working in Philly and we heard a lot of rantings. Michael Carrington was a really nice guy but never got comfortable. Thank God for editors. We locker room people knew it was never going to last...but it was a lot of fun. It sure beat a real job after college :)
This episode aired most recently on Nick GaS on March 30, 2004. I was watching that morning and recorded the audio. They sadly removed Think Fast from the schedule shortly afterwards, those bastards.
The locker room in this show was by FAR my favorite bonus round to ever be featured in a kids game show. Cheesy? Yes, very. But so hilarious at the same time that it made it all worth watching.
@jonbateman80 I agree with you, I think 'Think Fast' is number one on my gameshow themes list with 'Double Dare' a close second and 'Finders Keepers' third.

James, the announcer, sounds a lot like a Philadelphia version of John Harlan.
I never would have imagined that Michael would later be a sitcom writer.

@crhartman I may be late in asking this but, were a contestant who made it in the locker room, or were you one of the characters inside the locker??

He was briefly the annoucer on a game show, called Personals on CBS. He was fired for new annoucer Jennifer Martin, just a few weeks later.

Edd Kalehoff is an OUTSTANDING composer. He's done so many theme songs for so many game shows.
