i was the brunette that you see just for a sec. that track was in fact watered and just plainly dried out. it happens. the officials judgement was questionable. i agree. but i think it ABSOLUTELY AMAZING that nobody had injuries more severe than sore neck and backs...
Oh my goodness! I love going to the Enduros in Hibbing, and I do demolition derbys all the time but THAT would scare the fuck out of me. Glad everyone was alright!
I was also at this event as well. I will never return to Cedar Lake Speedway again. They had complete disregard for the safety of the drivers by not watering the track. Also it was impossible for the fans to enjoy watching the race because of all the dust created by the drivers. I was on the opposite side of the track right next to the accident when it happened. I was positive people had died because of the stupid race officials didn't take the time to water the track. I won't go again.
