thanks for replying so quickly! so it looks like you used the rotational axis here? do you have to set it up to control something in the software? or does whatever mouse you have automatically become a default trigger for something like that
It's a SpaceNavigator. Sort of a 3d mouse, that can send movement data in all three dimensions, both linearly and rotationally. (I'm only using one of the six axes here.)
