at 0:20 his face makes me cry. And the fact that he is looking at a wedding ring meant that no matter if she was his ex or not, he still loved her and longed to be with her. I am a guy who has seen all of Titanic, but this movie makes me cry every time I see it! I can emotionally handle seeing approximately 1500 people literally go down with the ship, but show me a couple watching the sunrise while one of them dies and I weep like a rain cloud :P

I LOVE this movie but i still find it a little unbeliveable that a newly turned vampire could have the strength to fight the leader and punch a hole through his skull, and didn't they only have a FEW hours till sunrise anyway? Eben could have just created a distraction so that Stella could have escaped from under the car, it just seemed like a waste to have to go throught all that when it was the last day and they only had to wait it out a few more hours, after already surviving a whole MONTH :(

I don't know what's more tragic, that David Slade betrayed the REAL vampires by directing Eclipse, or this scene. Not trying to make a joke, I really do think this scene is tragic (even more so than the one in the graphic novel), but Slade turned his back on this kind of vampire by doing something so stupid.

This is one of my favourite ever endings (not just in film, but any other form of story-telling). Too often does the protagonist miraculously survive unbeatable odds, but I like how they showed this one to just man up and face his fate. The song also fits perfectly; the crescendo in harmony with his agony.
Melissa George is a very underrated actress. I have to say both her and Josh Hartnett pulled off two incredible performances in this film. They really made the terror and hopelessness of what they were going through believable. The expression on Stellas face always remind me of that scene from Kill Bill where they and burying The Bride and the little guy says " Look at her eyes...this bitch is Furious!!!"
Okay, I watched this film 2 times now and still don't understand WHERE DID THE VAMPIRES COME FROM? They don't explain it in the film that I can tell. I understand that they are wanting to feed, but why did they come to the town and where did they come from?

I LOVE this movie but i still find it a little unbeliveable that a newly turned vampire could have the strength to fight the leader and punch a hole through his skull, and didn't they only have a FEW hours till sunrise anyway? Eben could have just created a distraction so that Stella could have escaped from under the car, it just seemed like a waste to have to go throught all that when it was the last day and they only had to wait it out a few more hours, after already surviving a whole MONTH :(

I don't know what's more tragic, that David Slade betrayed the REAL vampires by directing Eclipse, or this scene. Not trying to make a joke, I really do think this scene is tragic (even more so than the one in the graphic novel), but Slade turned his back on this kind of vampire by doing something so stupid.

I recorded this film couple of months ago on a movie channel... and... n... I cant delete IT !! 'm just sick by watchin it over and over... I think it's been 15 times now... Gosh... The music, the ambiance, so DarkeLicious rraahh !!!
The ending is... awesome, each and every scenes when you reach the 3/4 of the movie are ALL exquisite to live in.. and the ending... OUAA !!! And the clip when the end is rolling on is DeliCiOUSly gross !!

This is one of my favourite ever endings (not just in film, but any other form of story-telling). Too often does the protagonist miraculously survive unbeatable odds, but I like how they showed this one to just man up and face his fate. The song also fits perfectly; the crescendo in harmony with his agony.

Melissa George is a very underrated actress. I have to say both her and Josh Hartnett pulled off two incredible performances in this film. They really made the terror and hopelessness of what they were going through believable. The expression on Stellas face always remind me of that scene from Kill Bill where they and burying The Bride and the little guy says " Look at her eyes...this bitch is Furious!!!"

Okay, I watched this film 2 times now and still don't understand WHERE DID THE VAMPIRES COME FROM? They don't explain it in the film that I can tell. I understand that they are wanting to feed, but why did they come to the town and where did they come from?
