@treasuredroperX both of you are wrong... a .22 fired into the air and a proper angle can go up to a mile. and as for water, people need to learn angles, when shooting at water the bullet will generally ricochet in the direction its already traveling, and if the area in front of the shooter is clear, then there is no possible harm being done, and if u watch the video the shooter raises the gun as the dog walks into his line of fire, the dog was in no danger at anytime.

Uhm no dude I dont OWN firearms but I can SHOOT them becuase I have a licence so that I can use the firearms my dad has and compete with them wich is what I do with them. Dry firing helps with trigger control, breath control and stance all of wich you aply when shooting accuratly and if you dont belive me than ask ny onlympic shooter out ther wich dry fires more times than actualy shoot live ammo. Oh and there are things called snap caps so you dont damage the firing pin.
I already know that...you misunderstood what i was saying. If you have a snap cap in the chamber its not dry firing it. That was my point. Dry firing = nothing in the chamber on any gun.

Uhm no dude I dont OWN firearms but I can SHOOT them becuase I have a licence so that I can use the firearms my dad has and compete with them wich is what I do with them. Dry firing helps with trigger control, breath control and stance all of wich you aply when shooting accuratly and if you dont belive me than ask ny onlympic shooter out ther wich dry fires more times than actualy shoot live ammo. Oh and there are things called snap caps so you dont damage the firing pin.

If you are using snap caps its not dry firing. Dry means theres nothing in the chamber at all.

Bullets can richochet and come down a mile away! HAHAHA, are you serious man ? After hitting the water the bullet loses alot of its kinetic energy! Theres even a video on here of a guy getting hit in the head by a 50cal richochet and its just like he was punched in the head! Maybe if they were firing a AR15 or AK at the water and someone was standing on the otherside of the pond then there MIGHT be a chance the bullet could hit/kill them but over a mile away ? I have to doubt it mate!

you do understand that its possible to do that if you were fireing say 100 yards out into the water at base level, but where he is at, they dont, watch myth busters, they do it at near the same angle, no skips what so ever, stop being paranoid, ive had more skip off the ground from a 22 than off water, if fact ive never seen a skip off water.

Than you would also be a moron. It doesnt matter what the chances are, it can always occur. If there HAD been a ricochet, and someone were to get hit, he could be held liable. Hid DOG was even downrange near the area he was firing at!

It is INCREDIBLY stupid and potentially dangerous. It take ONE bullet to ricochet the wrong direction and kill somebody. As Ive said before, its gun safety 101.
What do you think would happen if a ricochet were to occur and someone were to get hurt? The media would be all over the "danger that is firearms".

Basically, Im saying I dont give a damn how slim of a chance you think there would be for a bullet to ricochet. There is still a chance and it can end badly. Why put yourself in that position?
If you have taken your classes, you would already know its stupid to shoot at water. You shouldnt HAVE to take a class to understand that.
Oh, and even pellets will ricochet off water when moving fasting enough. Ricochet occurs on top of the water, not underneath of it.
