I think people who call this voter intimidation are racist. Why just becuz a black guy with a baton in his hand means you are intimidated? Dont blacks have the 2nd amendment right to bear arms too? If the accusations were true voters would have been complaining on election day.

No voters have said they were intimidated, or prevented from voting.

The case was not dropped. Bush dropped the case from criminal to civil.

No victims, no crime. Obama administration won the civil case. The guy with the is stick banned from polling booths until 2012.

The Bush DOJ did them a favor by only pursuing a civil case against them which they lost because they never showed up. The Obama DOJ dropped the civil case minus one slap on the wrist.

This was the most blatant act of voter intimidation ever caught on video. This was the easiest case they ever prosecuted.

I don't know about the KKK comparison, but I do think it's an outrage to your democracy to have nothing done about this overt intimidation. I suppose if the necessary steps are taken by local authorities to avoid this happening in the future, then it's fine.

To most sensible people, irrespective of race, the Panthers succeed only in revealing just how cretinous and demagogic they are with incidents like these.
