the owner (fulda tire factory) pays 12 million euro to built it and a remake would cost 8 million EURO (you know the difference between euro and dollar? 8 million euro are at the time 12'608'000 US Dollar). its handmade!

A series production price would be a bit higher than the price for the normal maybach sedans. and that would be less than half of the bugatti :P

Nope, you cannot buy Exeleros, there was only one made and it's not for sale. It'll probably be on display at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart in nearer future though. A true shame, the Excelero would have been a great alternative to the Veyron.
