Glad you asked. The Pre-Nat DC's not only played the inaugural ball for Clinton, the lead singer at the time (Laura Lynch) danced with the Prez! In 2008, despite their Bush bashing and the agenda driven liberal fan base that gave them their last pop, even liberal leaders didn't want them around. They weren't invited to the O'bama inaugural. Not as entertainers or as individuals. Yeah, they really came a long way with Nat Maines. Gone and for good reasons.

when was this video? the chicks are not "pop singers" in terms of say justin timberlake, or all that other "pop crap", they can rock those instruments like only the best, and if i ever saw reba or carrie or any country crap they put out nowadays actually play one i think i'd die of shock. Music is good or bad to our own ears. The labeling and comparing is all bullshit. Well now that we know what the definition of pop is we can move on. Willie Nelson was an outlaw and an outlaw because he did his own thing and didn't fall into the "pop" category. Dixie Chicks are pop singers and not outlaw country.
